It's okay to spoil yourself once in a while, but why not every day. This luxurious 1991 Toyota Celsior is all you ever need, with its generous appointments, silky powertrain, and an even smoother ride. Finished in a handsome Silver Mist (176) the classically proportioned body is in good shape other than some minor dings, chips, and scratches. Riding on OEM air suspension, and offered with a mere 59K verified miles, this legally imported and fully documented UCF11 is a turn-key Japanese Classic.

The cabin is filled with power equipment and quality materials. An electric steering column, power-folding mirrors, windows, and locks work as they should. Power seats with electric seatbelt adjusters are also standard, and quite the convenience. A rare option, this Celsior features a functional power sunroof if you didn't prefer the cold a/c that can be accessed through the vehicle's dual-zone digital climate system. The audio system works, and the interior is spacious and fantastic for long hauls and interstate travel. For drivers who require it, the Celsior is equipped with a factory, steering wheel-mounted cruise control system. An SRS driver airbag is also standard, which was not as common as you would think at the time when this vehicle was produced. There are plenty of cupholders for occupants in the front and back of the car, a sizable amount of storage in glovebox and center console. Woodgrain trim breaks up the neural colored interior and accents the gray cloth seats. They are soft to the touch and all in good nick. No notable rips, stains, or tears are present on the upholstery, headliner, or door cards. The dash is also in fine shape, without any cracks or distortion to be aware of. It's obvious this Toyota was really cared for!

Toyota's range of engines in 1991 was known for industry-leading efficiency and reliability. Chosen to launch Toyota's all-out attack on the Germans, this 1UZ-FE was designed as the brand's crown-jewel of mass-producing powerplants. Displacing 3968cc, this near-silent V8 churns to life thanks to a new 12v battery installed by one of our trained technicians. Low-vibration, and benefiting from a fresh oil and filter service, the 1UZ does not require a service for another 3,000 miles. It sends power to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox, and it shifts like butter. The air suspension soaks up large and small bumps without a shrug and includes in-cabin height adjustment if the driver so chooses. The brakes slow this heavy sedan down safely and the light, power-assisted steering can be articulated with ease. The silver, understated, alloy wheels are all wrapped in new all-season rubber-mounted and balanced by our shop. They quiet down the ride and should last for many miles to come, and can handle inclement weather if necessary.

The Celsior makes a lot of sense when compared to US LS400s. With fewer miles, and better equipment they represent an incredible value. Engineered with Toyota's reputation for reliability, this UCF11 is the real deal and offers one of the most premium driving experiences of any JDM luxury sedan.
