Nissan's S13 Silvia is a legend in the automotive community that needs no introduction. It's cemented itself as one of the most versatile platforms on the market; daily drivers, drag cars, drifters, show cars, it can do it all. Our 1991 Silvia K's is a stellar example of what a clean, nearly all OEM, car should be. Typically the HICAS was known for its use on the R32 and Z32 at the time, which makes this one a rather limited spec car. Only 195 Juniper Green (DH0) factory turbo cars came equipped with it making it one hard to find trim. The paint color alone makes this car a real standout. The deep green has a great luster and the metallic flake really pops once you get it out in the sunlight. The paint shows very well for its age with only some minor scratches and stone chips from day to day life. With only 86K verified miles it comes as no surprise that the body is in a similar condition barring a few typical door dings. It has become increasingly harder to find clean, stock body Silvias anymore making this a real gem.

Inside the cabin, you'll find an equally fresh interior. Some of the only few deviations from the factory can be found here. Most obviously is the Kouki 180SX driver's seat. Obviously not the original seat, it offers considerably more bolstering and support on both long drives and when you decide to have a little fun on the back roads. The stock passenger seat is in pretty good shape as there are some imperfections you can spot in the photos. Per usual the rear seats look as if they've seen very little use over the years, probably due to the limited size. Like most any 28 year old car the original wheel does have some wear on it from use. The stock shift knob has survived quite well considering it's in use whenever the wheel is. Atop the steering column is an old school mechanical HKS boost gauge to keep an eye on boost levels since the factory didn't supply one. Like all S13's the dash does have a few cracks in the dash, however a nice Shevron dash mat helps to spruce up the interior. All of our power features are operating as expected; power-folding mirrors, door locks, and windows. While it does still have the original radio it's not currently powered. Typically customers replace them with something more US friendly anyways.

Being a K's it comes fitted with the best motor option for the S13, the SR20DET. The turbocharged 4 cylinder takes this car from fun to drive to a blast. Thanks to a new battery all it takes is a quick turn of the key for the SR to spring to life. Revs are smooth and acceleration is confident all the way through the rev range. Shifts through the 5-speed transmission are rewarding and lack any grinds or hitches. The clutch feels great and has a very forgiving engagement. Inside the cabin, you can hear a bit more exhaust noise compliments of the Fujitsubo catback exhaust. The deeper bark is only fitting as the stock exhaust leaves some to be desired. The stock suspension is more than capable of keeping you planted, and the ride quality is far better than aftermarket setups. A full mechanical overhaul has been done to get everything up to par. Four new tires and struts along with tophats were installed, a fresh air filter and a routine oil change have us back up and running. Like a Swiss army knife, this little Silvia can be your next daily driver or track toy. With its abundant aftermarket, economical cost of ownership, and rewarding drive it really can't be beaten!
