The internet's most famous pickup is back and you can own it! This 1991 Hilux is a special truck, finished in its hallmark Garnet Pearl (3K3). Set off by an OE-inspired graphics package, new bed liner, aftermarket 15" alloys, and rear privacy tint, this rig looks mighty sharp aside from some light dings associated with normal use. Great for the beach, some muddy trails, and even your local Cars & Coffee this LN107 is fresh off a recent service and boasts a mere 128k verified and documented miles. Collectible, cool, and capable this legendary diesel Toyota was built to stand the test of time, and is the ultimate Japanese Classic 4x4 pickup!

The cabin was cared for in Japan and it's obvious to see. More spacious than our stateside models, this one even includes a couple of power amenities. The driver benefits from a clean and unencumbered view of the road ahead and this tall Toyota sits far above traffic, and offers impressive outward visibility. It even has LED headlamps for better nighttime illumination for the safety-conscious crowd. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading which is a common problem for these pickups. The center stack includes a simple-to-use climate control system. For the summer ahead cold A/C is on hand and the heat works, too, for these last few cold spring mornings. Directly below is the optional Toyota head unit with integrated TV and Radio functionality. It does work, however, the LCD display has given up the ghost. To find the ideal driving position, a tilt-adjustable steering column is standard and electric mirrors make daily use more enjoyable. The upholstery is the highlight of the cabin, in our opinion. Not only are they comfortable, but they contrast perfectly against the charcoal interior palette. The herringbone cloth lacks any major imperfections such as rips, stains, or tears and matches the door cards, which are in equally good nick. The headliner looks almost mint, and the carpets have been protected by the OEM optional all-weather mats, which are included in the sale.

While the striking exterior is a good reason to consider this double cab, the really good stuff is below the sheet metal. Powered by an ultra-reliable 3L diesel, and underpinned by a body on frame platform, this truck might just outlast your future grandchildren. To give this hauler a new lease on life, we performed an oil and filter service, and also installed a new 12v battery. A new fuel filter was also installed to keep the 2779cc running seamlessly and a new radiator was installed by one of our trained techs to keep the operating temps in check. The four-banger is linked to a five-speed manual gearbox which gives the driver tons of control over the platform. Shifts occur without a hitch or grind and a selective transfer case allows the driver to choose between 2WD and 4WD. Aisin locking hubs were also installed in Japan at some point, so if you are planning to get this thing dirty, they may come in handy and low 4WD can be utilized, as well. While this Hilux won't win you any drag races, it is capable of sustained highway speeds and its small exterior dimensions make it easy to park in the tight confines of the city. The suspension allows for tons of ground clearance and can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse. The brakes feel confident as they have been bolstered by a new set of front brake pads, and the power steering is light and easy to articulate. The wheels are wrapped in new 31" Falken all-terrain tires. Not only do they look mean but they quiet down the road noise and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
