The R32 Skyline is one of the best driving cars to come out of the 90's. While some may call it blasphemy, the automatic equipped cars may be the best driving of them all. At Classic's we're all purist and certainly appreciate a proper 5 speed car; but sometimes you just don't want the added hassle of a third pedal. We also realize that a lot of our customers live in cities where a manual just isn't all that enjoyable, after all not everyone can live off a twisty mountain side road. This 1990 personifies the best of both worlds. It's Red Pearl Metallic (AH3) gleams out in the sunlight and shows particularly well. The paint and body show exceptionally well, free of any notable blemishes. Naturally it does have some little door dings and minor imperfections from accruing its 77K miles but nothing out of the ordinary. The factory Type-M aero is all in great shape and has been kept all stock. The only change up to the body, if you can even consider it that, were the addition of a set of PIAA fog lights in place of the OEM units. They're hooked up to the original button on the gauge surround so it all looks original.

The interior is in just as great shape as the body, if not better. Everything inside the cabin has been kept all OEM, even down to the steering wheel. The wheel does show a little bit of wear from use but is far better than a lot of the ones we see come through here. Below the CD player, in the storage compartment, a Greddy turbo timer was added. With the fold up door it can easily be hidden out of sight. The stock seats show particularly well, free of any rips or stains. The same can be said about the door cards, carpets, etc. Even the dash is free of the ever common bubble that plagues most R32s. All of the power accessories are functioning as they should with the exception of the sunroof. Like most it is inoperable but does make for a nice skylight to lighten up the cabin. Otherwise the power windows, mirrors, door locks and automatic climate control are all spot on. The A/C is blowing nice and cold for commuting in the upcoming summer months.

The RB20DET power plant fires up immediately and revs through the RPM range effortlessly. The idle is nice and smooth, and acceleration is strong under boost. Since it's equipped with the automatic it's actually a good bit quicker than the 5 speed cars are since the turbo stays spooled at all times. Like the rest of the car, the drivetrain has been left untouched from the factory. With it's selectable transmission power and snow mode it makes daily driving a bit more accommodating. The only change up were the addition of front and rear Iba strut tower braces to help fortify the suspension. Mechanically the car came to us in great shape and we went ahead and took care of several big ticket preventative maintenance items as well. 4 new sticky tires, routine air filter and oil change, along with the big one; the timing belt and water pump. The belt and water pump are recommended ever 100K kilometers so the next owner is free and clear for quite some time. A car in such phenomenal condition is going to make someone happy for years to come. The automatic R32 truly is the ideal daily driver with it's superior power delivery, adjustable controls, and overall ease of use you really can't beat it!
