In 1989 the now legendary R32 Skyline was introduced, and even 29 years later it's still a benchmark of the Nissan brand. The styling of these has aged gracefully as they still turn heads every where they go. Being that this particular '89 is a Type-M it's been fitted with more aggressive bodywork to help step things up a notch. This is a type M model, which is highly sought after. This one was even fitted with the factory retractable front splitter, which is rare to find functional. With 131K verified miles this one has been maintained very well. The Black Pearl Metallic (732) paint shows great and really pops out in the sunlight. The clear coat is free of any peeling or excessive wear. The body matches just as well with only some minimal, routine, door dings from being driven over the years. Otherwise the car shows great in stock trim, even down to the original wheels.

The interior tells the same story as the bodywork does. The gray cloth shows exceptionally well, devoid of any rips or stains. The driver side bolster has even survived the years without suffering the common crinkling or tears from getting in and out. The passenger and rear seats are in similar, if not better, shape along with the carpets and headliner. The original steering wheel and shift knob do show a bit of age on them, and have been upgraded to Nardi and Nismo respectively. Barring these items, the interior has been left completely stock, just as Nissan would have liked it. All of the power accessories are functioning properly. And for being a 1989 it comes pretty well equipped; power windows, power mirrors (which actually power fold), one touch driver side window, and automatic climate control. The A/C has been checked and is blowing cold for the summer months ahead. While the dash is affected by the famous bubble, its otherwise un-warped and not cracked.

The engine bay is happily filled with the iconic RB20DET. Under the hood has been left untouched which is surprising in this day and age. Even down to the stock air box and exhaust, which are typically the first things to go. The suspension has been kept factory, and the ride quality isn't harsh. These are sports cars after all, not pickup trucks. The suspension keeps the chassis planted and the already nimble and responsive chassis feels confident on back roads. The factory 5 speed feels great, free of any grinds or whining. The stock clutch on these are pretty light and forgiving for those new to the RHD world. The two liter fires right up and has a very linear power band. A new battery and fuel filer ensure seamless start ups. Power comes on smooth as the turbo builds boost and pulls hard to the 7,500 RPM redline. The car has been inspected by our shop and has been fitted with a new set of plugs and an oil change for good measure, and has been reconditioned to pass the Virginia state safety inspection. With the legendary history, timeless good looks, and relentless power plant, this R32 would make an excellent new daily!
