In '94 Nissan made a huge leap with the new and improved S chassis. Out with the boxy, angular, designs of the Skyline and Silvia and in with new more rounded bodywork. The new design allowed for the car to be slightly wider and lower than the outgoing Silvia but with only a minimal jump in size. The lower/wider stance only helped to aid the already nimble chassis and now with improved looks. Our Super Black (KH3) Q's has been kept largely original with a few subtle updates over the years. The chunky side view mirrors were replaced in favor of a more sleek set of aero mirrors. Out back is the much more aggressive Kouki wing. Since those were added after the fact the paint matches up pretty well. Overall the paint is in good condition, free of any clear coat peel or chipping. The clear coat does show it's age as it has some etching and light scratches from over the years. While we detail all of our vehicles, a good paint correction would go a long way. The body is in great shape, free of any notable issues. Since factory wheels are always drab, 16" AVS VS6's were added in their place.

The new and improved interior is a fantastic upgrade over the S13's. The dash layout is much more refined while keeping the easy to read layout. There have been a few modifications from the factory. Most notably the driver's seat has been replaced with a much more supportive Bride Brix seat. The bolster does have the common tear from getting in and out but a good upholstery shop could be able to assist. Original passenger and rear seats are in excellent shape, and the same can be said about the carpets and door panels. The steering wheel is a nice Momo unit that's in fantastic shape. The Razo shift knob is the perfect size and weight making it a very nice, yet subtle enhancement. As noted in the pictures the dash does unfortunately have some cracks, but those familiar with the S chassis know this issue all too well. Since the mirrors have been replaced they're no longer powered, but the door locks and windows are still rocking like they should. Automatic climate control is functioning like normal and the A/C is nice and cold. And since the factory radio has already been replaced, swapping in a more US compatible one is even easier.

Power comes compliments of Nissan's aluminum block SR20DE. While most complain about the naturally aspirated version, driving it will make you second guess yourself. The power comes on quickly as there's no turbo lag to deal with and it pulls very linear all the way through the rev range. And if you can manage to keep your foot out of it, you'll actually return some solid MPG's as this would make a fantastic daily seeing as it only has 54K verified miles. The 5 speed shifts phenomenally which in turn makes the NA power band even more exciting. Clutch engagement is smooth and hassle free. The already nimble chassis has only been further enhanced via a set of HKS coilovers. For reliability sake the engine has been left bone stock with merely the addition of a catback Fujitsubo exhaust. While the exhaust looks massive poking out from under the rear bumper it's more quite than you would anticipate. It makes start up and idle a bit more noticeable like it should have been, yet doesn't have any of the typical drone at highway speed. It came to us in great mechanical shape, simply needing new tires to replace the old ones and a fresh oil change. Otherwise this exceptional driver's car is turn key ready to start turning heads here in the states!
