It may have been a while, but we want you to know that we haven't forgotten how great the R32 GTS-t sedan is. There is dwindling supply left in Japan which has sent prices skyrocketing internationally. Examples like this manual transmission, rear-drive, 1991 Series 2 Type-M are getting increasingly hard to find. Offered with a mere 88K verified miles and finished in a classic Gun Gray Metallic (KH2.) The body is in good shape aside from the normal dings and chips you'd expect from a car of this age. Legally imported and recently serviced this five-seat sports sedan is a certified Japanese Classic.

The interior has held up impressively over the years, and it's obvious this car was cared for in Japan. Dashboards in this condition regularly command upwards of two-thousand dollars by themselves. It lacks the normal bubble and delamination that plagues these typically. The driver benefits from a telescoping column and the stock steering wheel has been updated with a Momo leather-wrapped one. The gear selector has been replaced with a clear, spherical knob and the factory audio was ditched in favor of a Pioneer unit that operates. The speaker quality isn't the best at this point but that's an easy fix. The digital climate is standard and the system works currently. It is simple to operate, and intuitive. Other power accessories include power windows, locks, and mirrors, and they all function. The seats are trimmed in a soft blue and gray textured cloth and are wonderfully supportive. Other than a minor hole on the driver's seat bottom less than a size of a dime, the seating surfaces lack any major imperfections such as rips, stains, or tears and they are quite comfortable on long cruises. The carpets are clean and the door cards are neatly upholstered and lack any sagging or delamination. The headliner has light stains but is otherwise fine, and the privacy tint on the rear window works to keep interior temps down.

The powertrain is what enthusiast clamor for, and this one has some nice factory upgrades in addition to the smooth running RB20DET. Fresh off an oil and filter service, this straight-six starts up quickly thanks to a new 12V battery. It idles nearly free from vibration and is connected to a five-speed manual gearbox. The inline-six sounds awesome thanks to a cone filter and polished 5Zigen exhaust. An expensive SARD hi-flow catalytic converter should keep you in the good graces of Leaf and Prius owners. Upon import, the valve cover had a leak but we have taken care of that so that the RB doesn't need content top-ups. Shifts occur smoothly and this gearbox lacks any hitches or grinds. Power is sent to the rear wheels and acceleration is impressive for a sedan, let alone one of this age. Gearing is fine for sustained highway cruising but this chassis is best in the twisties. A front and rear strut tower brace tie the chassis together, and the Skyline corners fairly athletically. We have made an effort to replace some of the worn suspension components so that the next owner can enjoy the car as it was meant to be. Items include new HICAS arms and traction arms. Braking performance is impressive and the shop has installed new front brake pads to keeps stopping distances short. 16" Charcoal Kyoyo Version DR alloys set off the aesthetics, and are wrapped in new all-season rubber at all four corners. They quiet the ride down immeasurably and should last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
