1993 Suzuki Every 4WD
This 1993 Suzuki Every van a unique, useful city runabout, equipped with a rugged 4WD system. This ninth generation example, comes with a slew of useful options for daily use, and has had a bevy of recent maintenance work performed. The exterior, finished in Midnight Blue Metallic, is in good shape overall. The paint is in good condition overall and shines nicely with no severe blemishes, and the hue is quite lustrous. The body is in similar shape with and does have some small dents but nothing that is anything larger than quarter sized. Dual sliding door with sliding windows were standard for the Every, and the hatch opens to nearly six feet for easy loading.
Although this van has a small foot print – the cargo space rivals modern SUVs and is easily accessible via the sliding doors and large rear hatch. The interior has a much more updated look when compared to other Kei vans from the era. Its blue, checkered cloth seats are in above average condition, and are nicely bolstered, with the only major issue being a small inch long tear on the vinyl portion of the seat. The door panels and dash are also in nice shape with no significant flaws. The roof is surprisingly high, and the headliner is nearly immaculate. Heat pipes through the vents well, and an a/c system can provide some cooling during the summer months. The OEM radio illuminates and functions well, as sounds come through some tiny door speakers. All controls are within reach as the Every does have some decent ergonomics for a kei van. OEM raingards are a nice little addition, and allow for some convenient ventilation options when a/c isn't desired. Visibility is premium as the A pillars are small, the side mirrors are large, and there is an abundance of glass around the cabin. The flat load floor helps with foot room and loading up cargo.
This Every is powered by a 657cc inline-three (F6A) which delivers power through a full time 4WD system. It cranks strongly thanks to a new 12V battery fitted once the vehicle arrived stateside. Additionally we have installed new spark plugs, and performed its routine oil and filter service to ensure that this 49K original mile power plant keeps on running smooth. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth, as this little runabout has had a brand new clutch installed by one of our expert technicians, to ensure the next owner can expect a low cost maintenance experience. The suspension is compliant and this ninth generation Every benefits from a longer wheel base, improving stability and ride quality. Its brakes feel strong, and bring this bantam weight hauler down to a stop without any concern. It’s capable of cruising at highway speeds, but is most ideal around town where up to 45 miles per gallon can be achieved. This mini hauler is a blast to own, and comes as a turn-key, federally legal vehicle. Own this Japanese Classic today for $8,295.
