The 70 Series Land Cruisers receive high marks for styling, but their beauty runs more than skin deep. This 1995 Prado features a determined 1KZ-TE turbodiesel and trusty 4WD, so you can enjoy it year-round. Fresh off a recent service, this tough truck is offered with a mere 144k verified and documented miles. That's Toyota-speak for barely broken in, and this SX drives like a dream. Set off by a set of OEM rainguards, rear privacy tint, front and rear metal bumpers,  and classic 16" alloy wheels, this seven-seater is finished in a fresh coat of Vermillion Red (A82), which is a BMW color. Aside from some slight imperfections the body and paint are in good nick and this striking Toyota gets more looks than sports cars costing three times the price. For those looking for a collectible, reliable, and spacious SUV this Japanese Classic is ideal. Turn-key and ready to rock this overlander would make for a killer daily driver or distinctive trail rig poised for your next exciting adventure!

Once inside the cabin, you can appreciate the impressive amount of head, shoulder, and legroom. The truck rides above traffic and delivers decent visibility all around. Unlike many of these we see, the dash lacks any cracking or distortion. Cold A/C can be accessed through a simple control panel mounted centrally, although the head unit above was removed prior to import. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and electric lumbar support. The electric equipment doesn't stop there and power windows, door locks, and mirrors all make daily use more enjoyable. Even the prized electric sunroof option was ticked, and it works like a charm. It adds loads of natural light and ventilation to the cabin, and is a must have for many! The textured tan upholstery is in good shape overall. It lacks any major rips, stains, or tears and is done in the same material as the door cards. The third row adds two additional spots to ride along, and folds away into the d-pillar conveniently when not in use. The headliner does have a few minor scuffs, and the carpet has some light staining, but it's really hard to complain about the cockpit otherwise. Even the OEM carpet mats are included in the sale!

The mechanicals are simple, sturdy, and built to endure the test of time. It all starts up front with Toyota's nearly bulletproof 1KZ-TE. This 3.0L mill is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up promptly care of two new 12v batteries we installed after it arrived stateside. A new engine air filter maximizes power and economy, and the Prado pulls strong up to redline. This truck is capable of sustained highway use and is peppy around town, too. A slick-shifting automatic is mated to a selective transfer case. Low range can be engaged if you're on snow or sand and these rugged Prado make great winter vehicles. The brakes are confident and the power steering is somewhat light, making parking a snap. The suspension has received a refresh thanks to new shocks, and the J78 feels confident even on rougher pavement. Lastly, new all-terrain rubber was installed at all four corners. The meaty tires match the tough-guy looks but most importantly will last for tens of thousands of miles to come. A fresh alignment and state safety inspection were then performed, so she can hit the road immediately!
