Stock #6123Nissan's Stagea is arguably one of the coolest all-wheel drive haulers we see here at Japanese Classics. Our 1997 RS-Four is ripe with turbo inline six power, funky period-correct styling, and of course full time AWD. The Emerald Green Pearl (DS0) paintwork was a limited-run option, and the paint shows well aside from some typical scuffs and chips associated with normal use. NISMO smoked side markers and an OEM front lip add some subtle factory flair to the exterior, but the real stars of the show are the 18" Trial Try Force alloys. With Silvers coilovers closing up any unsightly wheel gap and upscale privacy tint on the windows, this sexy estate is a true head turner and will certainly attract a lot of attention cruising down the road. With only 73k verified/documented miles on the clock, this Stagea is one of a kind, and a true Japanese Classic that only gets better with age.The interior is spacious, accommodating, and most importantly was kept in fantastic shape by the previous owner. The wild factory-patterned cloth seats harken back to the mid 90's, and show exceptionally well, save for some light bolster wear on the driver's seat. The dash is in equally good nick, and dual SRS airbags provides some additional peace of mind for your copilot. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column, and additional seat height adjustment for some added comfort behind the wheel. The lower dash trim frames OEM audio, and a fully functional digital automatic climate control unit, ripe with cold A/C and hot heat for whichever climate you decide to take this wonderful wagon in. Power windows, power locks, and power folding mirrors are standard, fully functional, and make the daily driving experience more enjoyable overall. The rear seats provide plenty of leg and headroom, and fold completely flat if you need additional cargo space in the back. The headliner is in good shape, and the original carpeted floor mats are even included to protect your factory floors against unwanted spills or stains. Overall, the interior condition is impressive for the vehicle's age, and we've even retained the factory spare and tool kit as well!Pop the hood and you're greeted with a legendary Japanese powerplant. With a penchant for power and ease of modification, these RB's are stout units, and luckily this one has been kept in tip-top shape thanks to a recent service by our trained technicians. The engine cranks over without a hitch, care of a new 12v battery, and idles smoothly. A fresh fuel filter was installed in house to keep this RB running right as rain, and a fresh oil and filter service was just performed. An HKS intake helps free up some extra ponies while allowing the factory turbocharger to sing on and off throttle! The factory automatic transmission is surprisingly responsive, delivering rapid shifts through the powerband, and this wagon rockets to highway speeds in no time! A new front right axle was installed, and the front left was rebuilt to give the drivetrain a bit of a refresh. She tracks straight as an arrow thanks to a fresh alignment! We must note that due to the lowered ride height, the axles sometimes briefly bind when going on throttle but highway driving is still smooth and composed overall. The Silvers coilovers deliver a ride that is responsive yet comfortable, and even with the lowered ride height daily cruising is plenty achievable. A 50/50 torque split button is on hand for additional assistance on loose surfaces, and the brakes do a swell job if the fun has to come to an abrupt stop. Lastly, a set of recently replaced Continental rubber are knee-deep in tread, not only do they look great stretched on the stylish alloys, they'll deliver tens of thousands of miles of grip to come!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
