Exterior Overview
We fancy our RHD imports, but also have a healthy respect for domestic vehicles. This 2017 Obsidian Black (212) Lexus NX200t F Sport has been with us through thick and thin and would make for a wonderful daily driver, as it was personally owned and daily driven here at the dealership. This elegant crossover is offered with only 83k verified and documented miles on the clock, and is fresh off a recent service. The aero is bespoke as well, and stands out from regular traffic thanks to a WALD front lip, Modellista side skirts, a Modellista rear apron, and 19″ WALD wheels. Optional LED headlamps set off the front fascia, and Modellista exhaust tips round off the rear end. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use, the paint is in good shape overall and could hold its own at any Toyota or Lexus mega meet. Powered by a punchy turbocharged engine and surefooted AWD, this classy crossover would make for an ideal year-round hauler. Safe, reliable, and efficient, this newer Japanese Classic is practical and unique!
Interior Overview
The cabin looks cutting edge, with loads of tech and safety features made standard. Keyless entry is standard and the driver benefits from an electrically adjustable steering column that allows the pilot to find the ideal driving position. Both front seats are powered and supremely comfortable on longer drives. The vehicle information screen is easy to read and infotainment options are plentiful. Navigation, Bluetooth audio, and music streaming are all operational and make daily use enjoyable thanks to easy to use touchpad control. Tons of 12v and USB charging is on hand for your gadgets and gizmos. Power mirrors, an electric tailgate equipped with new struts, power locks, and power windows all function in typical Toyota fashion. It even has laser-guided active cruise control and a heated steering wheel! The automatic digital dual-zone climate system is easy to operate and features cold A/C and piping hot heat. The front seats are heated, too, for the long winter ahead. Dual front and side curtain SRS airbags are on hand for those who may be safety conscious. The leather seats are in above average shape and lack any major wear. The carpets are protected by OEM floor mats and the headliner is in mint condition. A power sunroof adds loads of natural light to the cabin and retracts and tilts for added ventilation. The stitched door cards and dashboard lack any major wear and tear, the aluminum accents make the cockpit feel even more upscale. A backup camera keeps the expensive rear lip from sustaining damage, however, we did disconnect the sonar sensors in the shop when the lip was installed to prevent interference. The owner’s manuals are in the glovebox and a spare key is included with the purchase of this Lexus.
Mechanical Overview
Powered by a 2.0L turbo engine, this crossover gets moving quickly. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the powerplant is linked to a stout automatic gearbox. A new engine air filter was installed and works to maximize fuel economy. Shifts are crisp and the transmission is way more responsive than what we are used to around here. Adjustable drive modes allow for a more comfy or performance-oriented feel tailored to the pilot. Acceleration is impressive and high-speed cruising is effortless. It slows down quickly as the ABS brakes bite down hard. The suspension is supple and predictable and insulates well from the road surfaces. F-sport cars have firmer dampers and additional bracing for better handling. The power steering is light yet on point and the tires are knee-deep in tread, ready to hit the road.
*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first. CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
