Exterior Overview

For the past 15 years, we have heard the same sob stories time and time again. Lives change, families grow, and our enthusiast clientele have to sell their playtoys for crossovers and minivans more often than not. Why not have your cake and eat it too? This 2000, one owner estate is the perfect solution. It’s safe, reliable, refined, spacious, and a blast to motor. Offered with a mere 64k verified and documented miles, this Nissan is the perfect hauler. Finished in a lovely Pearl White (QT1), this DayZ edition Stagea is set off by OEM optional front and rear bumpers, OEM side skirts, a factory rear spoiler, and a subtle set of OEM rainguards. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scratches, this five-seater is in wonderful shape and is fresh off a comprehensive service that includes a new timing belt and water pump service. With turbo power, all wheel drive, and a balanced chassis, this terrific transporter would make for a killer daily driver or wicked weekend warrior. Interior Overview

The cabin is in above-average shape, and it was clearly cared for overseas. It is packed with factory options, such as the dual electric sunroofs, which aid ventilation and add loads of natural light to the cabin. Dual SRS airbags are standard, as are anti-lock brakes, for those who might be safety-conscious. It gets even better in that regard, as this Nissan was spec’d with adjustable Xenon headlamps, which illuminate the road at night much better than halogen bulbs. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and the OEM woodgrain steering wheel is in good shape with built-in buttons for shifting the transmission. The driver can find the ideal seating position thanks to a tilt-adjustable steering column. Both front occupants enjoy power-adjustable heated seats, too. The black cowhides are in great nick and lack any major imperfections. The rear seats can split-fold to accommodate more cargo. Backup sensors are on hand to alleviate any future costly insurance claims, and if that wasn’t over the top enough for a model year 2000 vehicle, the center console includes an integrated 100W wall plug for your accessories. The door cards are in good shape, as are the headliner and carpets, and the OEM carpeted mats and an OEM cargo separator are included with the purchase of this wonderful wagon. The OEM audio works, and aside from a non-operational climate touchscreen, it’s really hard to complain about the cabin. The good news is that defrost works, as does the automatic climate control button, so you do have some workarounds to maintain the proper cabin temperatures. We have even included the original owners’ manuals and maintenance notes.

Mechanical Overview

Under the skin, this wagon is as beautiful as the exterior. New hood shocks were installed so you could show off this stellar powerplant at the local Cars & Coffee. The heart of this beast is Nissan’s legendary RB25DET. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 2.5L churns to life courtesy of a new 12V battery. A proper tune-up was in order, so we chucked in some new spark plugs and ignition coils. We then added in a new engine air filter and fuel filter. Best of all, we performed the most important and expensive preventive maintenance service there is! A new timing belt, water pump, and thermostat were taken care of for some peace of mind. Good for another ten years, we flushed the coolant with new stuff while we were at it! The inline six runs right as rain and is linked to a responsive auto gearbox. The transmission shifts like a champ and puts power to the ground through Nissan’s ATTESA all wheel drive system. Its gets up and moves when you mash the gas, and slows down promptly thanks to new front rotors and brake pads. The suspension is compliant and can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse. Improved with a new set of caster arms, we also replaced the front struts. Freshly aligned, the Stagea tracks straight as an arrow, and the tires are knee deep in tread so you can start your ownership off with an immediate road trip. Turn key and ready to rock, this wagon does it all!
