Exterior Overview
The 100 series Land Cruiser is an unkillable chassis. There’s a lot of merit to maintaining these excellent trucks, and it’s no surprise this is still one of the most prominent rigs on the road, despite being over 2 decades old. Our Japanese-Market 2000 is a real treat, with only 56k verified/documented miles on the ticker, a squeaky clean underbody, and some great preventative maintenance and service performed by our trained technicians. Finished in White Pearl, this VX Limited is set off by a factory rear spoiler, OEM rainguards, and stylish 16″ Method wheels.. At 25 years old, some paint imperfections, chips, and nicks are to be expected, but overall this Toyota has withstood any major use and abuse with nothing to show for it. This Cruiser is primed to double its lifespan, and then some, and with a slate of luxurious options, durable materials, and a formidable V8 engine, it goes without saying this is a serious Japanese Classic!

Interior Overview
The interior has it all and then some. Premium upholstery, a slew of power options, and most importantly a stowable third row to keep your kids and companions happy on a long road trip. The tan cloth seats are soft to the touch and show no discernible damage, and both driver and passenger benefit from heated buckets up front. A woodgrain steering wheel classes up the cabin, and for safety conscious occupants, dual front SRS airbags are present. The driver can tilt the steering column at will to get comfortable, and a Pioneer headunit was dropped in to keep the cabin supplied with Bluetooth tunes. Adjacent to the audio, factory automatic climate control can command temperatures in both front and rear zones, and cold A/C and hot heat are on tap. To keep your tushy warm, seat heaters are on hand up front. The remaining interior materials are in good nick, including the rear bench, which can flip forward to expand the cargo hold. The headliner is tight and tidy, and the door cards sport cloth inserts that match the factory upholstery beneath the covers. Power windows, locks, and power folding side mirrors work like a charm, and if you can see past some broken cupholders in the rear, and some steering wheel wear, this cabin is nearly perfect. We’ve even retained the full set of factory carpeted floor mats which look dang good and help protect your upholstery underneath!

Mechanical Overview
The body on frame platform and driveline are shared with our Stateside Landy’s, making service as easy as it gets. This illustrious V8 is also shared with stateside models and is known for its bulletproof nature. The 2UZ-FE is fresh off an oil and filter service and turns over promptly care of a new 12v battery. We did the legwork and replaced the timing belt and water pump with new units to prolong this V8’s lifespan. A new thermostat was also chucked in to aid thermal management, and eight new spark plugs were installed across the board. We capped things off with new valve cover gaskets, and installed a new engine air filter and fuel filter for a bit of a preemptive tune up. The FullTime 4WD system feels surefooted and includes a center-locking differential and low gearing for the occasional off-road expedition. For use over pavement, the 100 is at the top of our list. The soft suspension benefits from all new shocks, and is ideal for daily use and abuse over our less-than-perfect American tarmac. The power steering is light yet direct, and we rebuilt the steering rack with new seals, boots, and inner and outer tie rods. A fresh alignment prevents accelerated tire wear on the brand new 33″ Falken tires we mounted and balanced while the Toyota was on the lift. The ABS brakes feel confident and slow this brute down with urgency. Turn key and ready to hit the open road, this lovable Land Cruiser is one heck of a truck, and is good to last another 25 years, and then some!
