Stock #6322When shopping for a dependable daily sedan, Toyota and Lexus immediately come to mind. The JZS160 platform is everything a great commuter should be, and this Japanese-market 1999 Aristo has a ton of great options to boot! Easy to service, comfortable to drive, and begging for a highway roadtrip, this JZS160 has a lot to offer, and the 90k verified miles on the clock are a fraction of what we typically see stateside. Set off by an aftermarket 3 piece lip kit, this Aristo boasts LED headlamps, LED fog lights, Giugaro-designed 17" wheels, and a tasteful rear spoiler too. In good shape cosmetically, there's not much worth noting aside from some defects in the one-off Black Pearl paintwork. Great for first timers or seasoned Toyota vets, it's hard to deny the appeal of this Japanese Classic! The interior boasts the desirable leather package and fortunately the years have been kind to the cowhides, as they show only a few minor spots of wear from daily use. Both driver and passenger benefit from power adjustable heated seats, and if you're behind the wheel, you can dial it in with electric tilt and telescope adjustment. Outfitted with a state of the art at the time EMV system, the infotainment integrates audio and climate controls into a simple to use unit, and the sound quality is above average through the factory JBL premium audio. The automatic power windows work like a charm, as do the locks and power folding mirrors. Dual front and side SRS airbags are standard, and give all occupants some peace of mind on the road. The back seats and trunk are spacious, the headliner is tight and tidy, and the carpets have been protected by a sleek set of tiger stripe MOZU floormats. Coupled with the owner's manuals and maintenance booklets, this is a clear indicator this Aristo was cared for in a prior life and the next owner should feel good about inheriting this well preserved classic! The exterior is modern, the interior is packed to the brim with amenities, but the 2JZ-GE under the bonnet is the icing on the cake! Identical to our 3.0's offered in USDM models, these inline 6 powerhouses are easy to maintain and parts are produced in abundance for any maintenance needs that arise. Ours is also off a recent service and tune-up, where we dropped in a new 12v battery to aid ignition. It idles with confidence too, thanks to an oil and filter service, and we replaced the engine air filter with a new element to keep the inline six fed with fresh oxygen. The automatic gearbox throws the power rearward, and it rides like a cloud thanks to new struts installed all the way around. To get the drivetrain state safety compliant, both caster arm bushings were replaced up front, and this Aristo stops and steers as you'd expect, with nitrogen assisted ABS brakes bringing you to a screeching halt if needed. The 17's are wrapped in fresh all season rubber. Chock full of tread and ready for the road ahead, they'll deliver a comfortable ride in nearly every condition!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
