Exterior Overview
Good things often come in small packages, and when it comes to trucks, the Suzuki Jimny exemplifies this statement. This JB33W is a versatile little vehicle, and with a 1.3l engine, it can hang with the big boys on the trails or even trudging down the highway! It’s also a looker, boasting Silky Silver Metallic (ZS2) paintwork, a 2″ Taniguchi lift, chrome mirror caps with LED winkers, an optional OEM rear spoiler, OEM rainguards and sleek polished CST Zero 1 alloys. The 65k miles on the clock are verified and documented too, and this Jimny is turn key, ready to rip. This compact crawler is surprisingly spacious, easy on the eyes, and a bonafide compliment magnet. In other words, this Suzuki sounds like a true Japanese Classic!

Interior Overview
The interior is cool, quirky, and packed with all the power equipment and extras needed to make daily driving a walk in the park. Clearly loved by a previous owner, the faux carbon trim steals the show and shows no discernible defects apart from some peeling around the in-dash CB radio. Over towards the pilot’s side, a MOMO steering wheel frames an upgraded backlit Danger Racing instrument cluster overlay. This Jimny is also suited for the audiophile, as a custom Kicker speaker enclosure is built into the rear hatch. The sound quality is above average and is a worthy replacement over the lackluster under-dash audio. It’s powered by a Panasonic headunit with Bluetooth functionality, and adjacent to the radio, a simple to use climate control system doles out cold A/C and hot heat on demand. If you need natural ventilation out on the trails, both power windows work on command, and a factory keyless entry system assists power locking and unlocking. Even the mirrors electronically fold if you need to squeeze this Jimny through the tightest confines of the backcountry. The rear bench is surprisingly spacious. Passengers are pampered with leather seat covers, and they fold fully flat to prioritize cargo space if needed. Overall, it’s clear this interior was well cared for in a prior life, and we believe the next owner will wholeheartedly agree.

Mechanical Overview
The Jimny might be small in stature, but this Sierra was spec’d with easily the most capable engine option, Suzuki’s durable G13B. This 1.3l four banger is easy to service, and parts are readily available stateside, meaning ownership is near seamless. Still, our trained technicians have given this pint-sized powerplant a once over, installing a new 12v battery to aid ignition, and flushing out old lubricant with a fresh oil and filter service. New spark plugs were dropped in and this Jimny revs smoothly throughout the powerband. Highway speeds are surprisingly accessible and the automatic gearbox is nicely geared even when you’re trudging down the interstate. Fully spec’d from top to bottom with Taniguchi suspension bits, the 2″ lift is bolstered by adjustable panhard bars, tubular radius arms, and a Rancho steering damper to aid stability. The power steering attributes to a tight turning radius, and the disc brakes bite down hard when called upon. The 15″ alloys look dang good and are wrapped in nearly new Toyo All Terrain rubber on all four corners. This Jimny fits right in on our stateside streets, and is an appealing package overall.
