Derived from the Lexus GS platform and upgraded with healthy dose of Supra 2JZ-GTE power, the Aristo is a seamless blend of sport and luxury. Our lovely example only shows a mere 102k verified and documented miles on the clock, which means its barely broken in. Purists will appreciate the unmolested exterior and one-off Briquette Black paintwork, which has been accessorized with a factory rear spoiler, OEM carbon trim, OEM rainguards, and 18" Hot Stuff Explorer alloys. Aragosta coilovers close up any unsightly wheel gap and this transporter turns plenty of heads to those in the know. While there are some normal scrapes, dings and chips of note, the body is in fine shape and this sedan is turn key ready to rock! If you've tried shopping for a 25 year old domestic Lexus, odds are you've flipped through photos of tattered leather interiors and accelerated wear from daily use and abuse. This Aristo was not only cared for in a prior life, but the sport cloth seats are worth their weight in gold to any aspiring owner! Dual SRS airbags are present in the front and sides, and you and your passengers can breathe a sigh of relief behind the wheel. The driver gains access to a power tilt and telescoping steering column, and both power seats work well up front. Unique to the Japanese market, this Aristo has a built in air purifier and the audio and climate control are integrated into an easy to use multifunction display that sits front and center. All four power windows are automatic, and the power locks, keyless entry and electric folding side mirrors work well for some added accessibility during your day to day. A power moonroof can unfurl rapidly to let some natural light and ventilation too. Cabin comfort is optimal, and cold A/C and hot heat are able to be adjusted individually for both driver and passenger via an optional touch screen. The rear bench is spacious and the cabin is well insulated to drown out any unwanted ruckus from outside. Further aiding this Aristo's desirability, we've retained the original owner's manual and maintenance booklets. Aside from some light distortion to the driver's door card and wear beneath the steering wheel cover, it's hard to complain about this classic Toyota cabin!Under the hood, the 2JZ-GTE is a legend in its own right, and this VVT-i model is as good as it gets. Sharing the same parts, serviceability, and ease of modification as the storied A80 Supra, these are legendary mills, and ours has undergone a full service in house to deliver a turn key experience that can be enjoyed from the first start up! This one cranks over swiftly, care of a new 12v battery, and the idle is as smooth as you'd expect from a luxury Toyota. A new air filter keeps her breathing freely, feeding fresh air to the responsive twin turbochargers. With a fresh oil and filter service topping this one up on lubrication, she drives like a dream, and we dropped in a new fuel pump and filter to rid any contaminants from your petrol. Deceptively quick in stock form, this Aristo rockets to highway speeds at the snap of a finger and can cruise with ease. The automatic transmission is equally as smooth in operation, and a selectable manual mode is even at hand, delivering responsive shifts up and down the gears. New struts on all four corners give this one a hefty refresh in ride quality and road imperfections large and small are gobbled up with ease. Power is hammered to the rear wheels swiftly, and we changed out both front tension arm bushings and tended to a leaky lower ball joint in the left front. With the handling up to spec, we mounted up new rubber on all four corners to ensure the power gets to the ground without hesitation. The ABS brakes clamp down with force thanks to new front rotors and pads, and this Japanese Classic is turn key ready for the road ahead!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
