Stock #6022
Stock #6022The J100 Land Cruiser is modern, capable, safe, and reliable. For those with households on the move or active lifestyles, trucks like this 1998 are tough to beat. This VX Limited Model is also handsome, finished in White Mica Pearl (057), and is accessorized by LED tail lamps, bronze 52Fifty wheels, factory running boards, privacy tint, and a set of OEM rainguards. Aside from some light dings, chips, and scratches the paint is in good nick and this recently serviced 4x4 boasts a mere 78k verified and documented miles on the clock. Compared to high mileage, torn-up stateside examples, it's hard not to see the value. Easy to service and ideal for year-round use, this spacious Land Cruiser is a Japanese Classic. Adventurers, families, and enthusiasts rejoice because this SUV is the real deal! The cabin is clean, simple in its design, and full of premium materials and features. The driver has a complete view of the road ahead thanks to the tall ride height and low-lying dash. Dual SRS airbags are mounted up front for some added peace of mind and the dashboard lacks any cracking or fading. An upgraded Pioneer touchscreen head unit is simple to operate and even includes US frequencies. Below is an intuitive automatic climate control system that can cycle through heat and cold A/C as desired. These Land Cruisers even have dedicated rear seat heat for those cold mornings shuttling the kids to school. The driver benefits from an adjustable steering column and power-folding mirrors, electric door locks, and power windows. These items all work like a charm and make daily use enjoyable. The seats are in above-average condition and are upholstered in a soft tan cloth. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and are comfortable on longer trips. The middle row can tumble forward or split-fold to accommodate more cargo if necessary. The headliner and door cards are in decent shape too and it's clear this Cruiser was cared for overseas. Best of all it even retains the factory floor liners, which go for a bunch of money, and overall it is hard to find fault with the cabin.Just like Stateside 100s, this rig is powered by the trustworthy 2UZ-FE. This powerful V8 is fresh off an oil and filter service and turns over with the twist of a key. Ignition is aided by a new 12v battery, a new fuel filter, and a new engine air filter work to maximize power and fuel economy. The 4.7 is linked to a stout automatic and Full-Time 4WD system. Acceleration is decent for a truck this size and cruising at highway speeds is comfortable, in case a road trip is planned. If it's a beach trip rest assured that this Landy is a capable one, and a low-range 4WD and a center locker should keep this thing trudging forward. The suspension has been refreshed by one of our trained techs and new lower ball joints have been installed and we replaced the front wheel bearings and the driver's side front inner CV boot too for good measure. The power steering is light and on point and the ABS brakes are confident slowing down this heavyweight from higher speeds. The wheels are wrapped in new 33" Falkens at all four corners and we even aligned her for good measure. Ready for daily use or a fun day on the trails, this Toyota is a terrific one! *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
