Exterior Overview
This J100 Land Cruiser gives us some serious chills. Not just because this 1998 looks like it just conquered the Siberian ice pack, but because it is packed with cool options and upgrades. This V8-powered rig is finished in a lovely (057) White Pearl Mica. A highly accessorized example, this unit is set off by aftermarket wide fender flares, a polished tow receiver, OEM rainguards, a TRD front valance, OEM rear spoiler, aggressive WEDS alloys, and a factory spare tire swingarm with a matching hardcover. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs this truck is in good shape and is fresh off a recent comprehensive service. Offered with only 78k verified and documented miles on the clock, this Japanese Classic has logged a fraction of the use of an American model. Refined, reliable, and uber-capable, this lovable Landy does just about everything well. Ideal for families on the go, adventure types, and enthusiasts alike, this terrific Toyota can be yours today!

Interior Overview
The interior of the J100 is leagues ahead of its predecessor in terms of quality, features, and ergonomics. Cabin access is seamless thanks to functional keyless entry. The driver benefits from a tilt steering column and electric lumbar support to find the ideal driving position. Both front occupants can rest assured knowing dual SRS airbags are standard. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and the center stack is close by within arms reach. Factory wood grain trim breaks up the color palette and adds an upscale feel to the cabin. The climate controls are accessed through a simple-to-use touchscreen and the A/C and heat work like a charm. If you prefer more natural ventilation, a large sunroof can fully retract and tilt, and the rear windows pop out for better airflow. For those who plan to daily drive, the power folding mirrors, electric locks, and power windows work in typical Toyota fashion. The factory audio offers decent clarity and supplicants the V8 under the hood for a quality soundtrack. The seats are comfortable too, and the tan cloth lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The middle row can tumble forward to accomodate large cargo and the rear split tailgate opens wide to swallow your stowables. The door cards are in good shape as is the headliner and the carpets are protected by OEM rubberized mats. Even the owner’s manuals and maintenance booklets are on hand. Few squeaks or rattles penetrate the cabin, even at higher speeds, and you can see why this platform was rebranded as a Lexus stateside. All in all, this is one of the nicest Land Cruiser cabins in recent memory and we feel the new US owner will agree.

Mechanical Overview
While the 100 is leagues better over pavement than the 80 it replaced, it’s still more than capable off the beaten path. The 2UZ-FE V8 makes loads of power and is fresh off an oil and filter service in the shop. The sound is incredible, enhanced by a rare and expensive Ganador exhaust. To ensure that dinosaur juice remains on full, one of our trained techs replaced both valve cover gaskets, which is a pesky job. The 4.7 whirrs to life care of a new 12v battery and the electronics will remain properly powered thanks to a new accessory belt. To maximize mpg and performance, we replaced the fuel filter, engine air filter, and spark plugs while it was on our lift. The eight-cylinder is linked to a stout automatic gearbox and FullTime 4WD transfercase. For beach driving and cruising to the top of the trailhead, a center locker and low range can be engaged on the fly. Acceleration is impressive for such a massive SUV and the handling is soft and nicely insulated from the road. Off-road escapades are also made easier with factory height adjustable suspension, which offers on-the-fly stiffness adjustability as well. New front bump stops, front swaybar links, and inner and outer tie rods were added to help this rig cruise through the state inspection process. A fresh alignment will prolong the life of the four new Falken tires were just mounted and balanced at each corner. The ABS brakes feel confident and the power steering is light and on point. Easy to daily drive, this smooth Cruiser coddles everyone on board and rides like a dream!
