Interior Overview
Toyota did an incredible job updating the 100 Series, and it came leaps and bounds from the 80 Series it replaced. Long gone are the hard plastics, replaced with more premium materials. The dashboard, like this one, seem more resistant to fading or distortion and dual SRS airbags are standard equipment. Front occupants also share heated front seats and a simple to use automatic digital climate control system. Below a brand new Dual Bluetooth audio system resides. This freshly installed piece includes handsfree Bluetooth tech and American radio frequencies. The heat and air conditioning work in typical Toyota fashion, making the cabin a comfortable place year round. If you prefer more natural ventilation, this Landy was optioned with the electric sunroof that can unfurl , just like the power side windows. Even the rear quarter glass pops outward to supplement the breeze. The driver can find the ideal driving position thanks to an adjustable steering column and the drivers chair also has inflatable booster support. The gray cloth upholstery lacks any major rips, stains, or tears and the desirable third row seat option has been spec’d from the factory. The matching door cards are in fine shape as are the headliner and carpets. To make daily use more enjoyable, power-folding mirrors, power locks, and cruise control all work like a charm. A set of spare keys and an OEM tool kit complete the cabin. Spacious, well-equipped, and cared for in Japan, the cockpit is a winner!

Highway cruising is effortless and the suspension has been refreshed in the shop by one of our trained technicians. New sway bar bushings and rear upper control arms were replaced for state inspection. We also replaced the front left wheel bearing. It rides like a dream and soaks up potholes and road imperfections with the best of them. We also rehabbed the steering system. The ABS brakes are responsive and a brake fluid flush was performed to improve the pedal feel. Lastly we wrapped the Nomad wheels in new 33″ Falken all terrain tires.
