Stock #5623
Stock #5623Out of all the unique estates to emerge from the land of the rising sun, none are as elusive or requested than the Nissan Stagea. While the unicorn 260RS models are currently forbidden fruit in the US, we do have access to the next best thing, and this 1997 Stagea RS-Four V is factory equipped with all the turbocharged AWD goodness you could want out of a sports wagon. Finished in a handsome coat of Nissan's Sonic Silver Metallic (KR4) this Stagea is adorned with an OEM rear deck spoiler, OEM rainguards, and Dolphin mesh grille, which provide the additional touches needed to set this one apart from the other grocery getters. Complemented by a set of multi-spoke A Tech Schneider alloys, this Silver Bullet is it! Boasting only 54k verified/documented miles, this sleek Stagea is barely broken in, and was also recently serviced in-house by our trained technicians. Versatile, valuable, and voraciously quick, this RS-Four is an undisputed Japanese Classic ready to tackle all-weather duty on our US shores! The interior is spacious, clean, and sports all the utility space and amenities you'd expect out of a station wagon. The sweeping, low-profile dash is in good nick and lacks any sun damage, cracks, or peeling. The lower dash plastic is trimmed in a complementary faux carbon and houses a Carrozzeria head unit, complete with Bluetooth functionality and a 24 hour video security system! Tucked above the center stack is a fully functional digital automatic climate control unit, with cold A/C and hot heat on the ready, for when this AWD estate eventually serves as a winter warrior. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and an OEM MOMO steering wheel, and dual SRS airbags were fortunately standard, providing some much-needed peace of mind behind the wheel. The wild, factory patterned, cloth upholstery shows well on the seats, and is in good nick overall, save for some very minimal driver's bolster wear. For such a sport-oriented wagon, there's a surprising amount of power amenities present to help jazz up the driving experience. Power windows, power-folding mirrors, and power locks all work at the push of a button, and a trick dual power moonroof system helps both front and rear passengers get more natural ventilation flowing throughout the cabin. The rear seats offer plenty of legroom and can also be folded flat to create a plethora of cargo space in the back! Overall the interior was clearly cared for by its prior Japanese owner, and the condition is nothing to turn your nose up at. We've even retained the factory carpeted floor mats, owner's manual, and OEM spare and tool kit!The RS-Four V is powered by the same powerhouse drivetrain as Nissan's iconic R33 Skyline GTS-4. Mix a punchy turbocharged I-6 with a smooth-shifting auto transmission and ATTESA all wheel drive, and you have a recipe for some serious driving excitement, no matter what the road conditions are. The RB25DET engine cranks over without a hitch, care of a new 12v battery, and idles smoothly. New spark plugs across the board and a fresh fuel filter were installed in house to keep this RB running right as rain, and a fresh oil and filter service ensures this turbo six stays topped up on lubricant. A Blitz intake and blow off valve help free up some extra ponies while allowing the factory turbocharger to sing on and off throttle! The factory automatic transmission is surprisingly responsive, delivering rapid shifts through the powerband, and this wagon rockets to highway speeds in no time! The factory suspension is plenty adequate for daily duty, soaking up road imperfections with ease, and this Stagea has been known to boogie throughout backroad twists and turns. A 50/50 torque split button is on hand for additional assistance on loose surfaces, and the factory brakes do a swell job, if the fun has to come to an abrupt stop. We've even installed four new Falken tires, guaranteed to deliver tens of thousands of miles of reliable grip to come! *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
