#5664The C35 Nissan Laurel is a remarkably capable platform and a fantastic competitor against Japan's other big-name sport sedans. Our 1997 Club S is powered by a revised version of the venerable RB25DE NEO powerplant paired with a slick-shifting automatic transmission. The rear-drive C35 can easily get out of its own way, and is offered with an impressive 29k verified and documented miles. The exterior shows as nicely as you'd expect, and is finished in a subtle Sonic Silver (KR4). Bridging the gap between sports car and luxury saloon, the Laurel's looks are ravishing, and the exterior of this five-seter features no modifications other than a factory low-rise spoiler. Fresh off a recent service, this C35 is a turn-key transporter, and a perfect representation of Nissan's 4 Door Sports Car spirit. Affordable, reliable, refined, and most importantly fun to drive, this Laurel is a Japanese Classic you won't want to miss out on.The C35's interior saw massive improvements over the fit and finish of the prior generation and the cockpit is spacious, accommodating, and attractive. A sweeping low-profile dash spans the width of the cabin and the dash materials are all in good nick, with no cracking, sun fading or other pesky wear to be found. A phone mount is included, and may produce some residue on the dash if removed. Due to the low mileage on this vehicle, everything looks to have been well maintained by the previous owner in Japan, down to the dark grey patterned cloth seats which show no rips, tears, burns, or significant bolster wear. The switchgear is clear and easy to read, and the digital automatic climate control functions as you'd expect, with cold A/C and hot heat on the ready. The driver benefits from a tilt/telescoping steering column, four-way manual-adjustable seating, and dual SRS airbags add some peace of mind for the copilot as well. Power amenities are abundant, and power windows, power-folding mirrors, and power locks work flawlessly. The rear seats offer plenty of room for passengers of all sizes, and the trunk has more than enough space to transport goods during your day-to-day commute. Overall, it's clear the previous owner cherished the condition of the interior, and aside from some light age-related wear on the door cards it's exactly what you'd expect out of such a low-mileage vehicle. The OEM carpeted floor mats are even included to sweeten the deal even more!Nissan equipped the C35 Club S models with a peppy 2.5 DOHC inline-six, with trick variable valve timing on the ready to help people hauler keep up with traffic. These RB20DE NEO motors are championed for their reliability and efficiency and overall make for a great powerplant for a commuter sedan. The motor turns over promptly, care of a new 12V battery, and operation is whisper quiet. All Laurels of this generation came equipped with an automatic transmission, and gear changes are responsive, putting power down to the rear wheels without a hitch. The suspension is comfortable yet compliant, and our trained technicians performed a full rebuild of the rear brake calipers to ensure that this C35 has plenty of stopping power when the interstate suddenly turns into a parking lot. While this Laurel could certainly be a show queen, we set it up to be turn key ready to enjoy for years to come. After performing a fresh oil and filter service, and mounting new Falken tires on all four corners to keep road noise quiet, and traction reliable for the road ahead this baby is good to go!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
