The Accord nameplate is one of the longest standing in Honda's lineup, and for good reason. This extraordinarily capable chassis was served up in a variety of flavors here in the US, but models like this CF4 SiR wagon have always been forbidden fruit. Our 1997 Accord has the equipment needed to turn heads and produce smiles stateside, like a trick H22A powerplant, and with only 87k verified/documented miles on the clock. With those type of miles, this bulletproof estate is barely broken in, and ready for a new life on our US shores! Finished in Solaris Silver Metallic (NH-536M-3), the exterior wears a snazzy Garson Geraid aero kit. Spanning the front bumper, side steps, and front and rear doors, the FRP aero looks great, with only a few expected chips, scuffs, and fade marks on the body from day-to-day use. Factory extras are on hand too, with a set of OEM rainguards polishing off the sleek factory bodylines, and a Garson rear spoiler finishes the laundry list of exterior modification. Rolling on a set of 15" SX alloys, this wagon will surely grab the attention of any discerning Honda enthusiast, and would make a fantastic chariot for daily duty. Spacious, capable, and deceivingly quick, this Accord SiR is a familiar Japanese Classic that gets the job done every time.

The interior of this lovely estate serves up all the space you'd expect out of a long-wheelbase wagon, while keeping some beneficial power amenities and luxurious materials on board as well. The factory cloth upholstery on the seats is in good nick, should you choose to remove the fitted leather seat covers, but we think the leather does a fine job complementing the black vinyl dash trim. The dash itself shows no major signs of cracking, peeling, or pesky sun fading, and for safety-conscious passengers, dual SRS front airbags are at the ready and provide some peace of mind behind the wheel. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column, and some additional seat height adjustment to further dial in the perfect driving position. The lower dash trim shows well, with no notable defects outside of some age-related peeling on the buttons. Nestled in the center stack is a functional digital climate control unit, ripe with cold A/C and hot heat for the winter months ahead. The existing aftermarket head unit has unfortunately sprouted legs and walked away, but the wiring is present and ready to swap in the upgrade of your choice. Power windows, locks, and even power-folding mirrors all work at the push of a button, and a power moonroof rapidly unfurls to allow some natural ventilation in the cabin. The rear seats supply ample head and legroom for 3 additional passengers, and fold completely forward to accommodate a boatload of extra cargo space in the rear if needed. The carpet is clean, and overall, if you can see past some headliner stains, this period correct interior should be more than adequate for its eager next owner. We've even included the OEM carpeted floor mats and the original owner's manual to further protect your investment!

While most of the onboard equipment is similar to USDM Accord offerings, the H22A powerplant under the bonnet is by far this wagon's biggest benefit. These 2.2l dual cam units were Honda's "big block" option in the late 90's and with VTEC on board, this is a seriously fun and capable mill for light-to-light sprints. The engine cranks over with the twist of a key, and idling is smooth and confident. A fresh oil and filter service and a replacement of the valve cover gasket by one of our trained technicians ensures this H series won't lose a drop of lubricant. It operates with a silky smooth idle, and it's clear this Accord was well cared for in its prior Japanese ownership. Acceleration is potent, and this Accord rockets to highway speeds without hesitation, cracking VTEC at a respectable 5,000 RPM. Shifts through the automatic box are smooth and the transmission is geared perfectly for those long commutes, if needed. New front sway bar end links add for some increased confidence when handling, and the brakes offer plenty of stopping power thanks to new pads on all four corners. Lastly, we've installed new Falken rubber all the way around, eliminating any unwanted road noise and delivering plenty of grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!
