The Mitsubishi Pajero is one of the most versatile SUVs sold worldwide. With heaps of cabin space, rugged design, and a track record of reliability to back it up, there is no question as to why the Pajero is one of the most sought-after JDM SUVs. This 1996 Mitsubishi Pajero is finished in a beautiful Hamilton Silver Metallic (A71) two-tone. The body reveals a few rock chips and scuffs from normal driving throughout the years, and no major damage. With a mere 109k verified and documented miles, the previous owner took special care of this one, and it shows. Aside from the Ralliart brush guard, fog lights, and OEM rain guards, this Pajero remains unmodified. The new owner will also benefit from the keyless entry for easy access into this rig. Off of a recent service, this well-rounded 4x4 is a turn-key-ready Japanese classic.
The interior of the Pajero is spacious and well designed. All three rows are trimmed in a soft gray cloth and lack any rips and stains. Behind the wheel, the driver has a clear view of the road ahead and a comfortable seating position. The electric windows, locks, and mirrors adjustments make day-to-day use easy for the occupants, and the digital automatic climate control is simple to use. Whether you demand scorching heat or cold A/C, you can easily set it and forget it. The original radio works as expected for all of your audio needs, and the field monitor above treats you with a compass, altimeter, and outside temperature readings. The dash is intact lacking any bubbling and cracking to be found. The new owner will be treated with the original owner's manual and some service records found inside the glovebox. It is obvious that the previous owner took great care of this Pajero having no major stains on the carpets and headliner. The door cards show normal wear on the armrests but no tears to be noted. If you need more cargo room, you can easily fold and suspend the 3rd-row allowing room for your camping equipment and recovery gear a cinch. This Pajero is perfect for hauling the family, overlanding the USA, or a reliable cool daily to stand out from the rest.
The engine under the hood of this capable Pajero is the stout 4M40 turbo diesel. The functional hood scoop keeps the cool breeze coming into the top-mount intercooler allowing the engine to perform at its best. The 4M40 2.8l turbo diesel quickly fires up with a twist of the key, thanks to two new 12v batteries, new glow plugs, and new fuel filter, that were installed here at the dealership. This rig idles steady is ready for just about any adventure you can throw at it. A 4-speed automatic transmission and a selectable 4wd are on tap to keep you safely on the road, or to keep you safely off the road. The gearbox shifts seamlessly through the gears with no harsh transitions. Although the 4wd light blinks on the dash, there are no concerns for proper engagement between 2wd to 4wd. New serpentine belts were installed along with a new fuel filter by our trained technicians. This will give the new owner peace of mind for preventative maintenance in the future. This rig handles great for a mid-size SUV on and off the beaten path. The suspension has adjustable dampening that can be controlled inside the cabin easily to accommodate the terrain you are on. The brakes are confident in slowing this rig down to a stop, and the acceleration is proper to get you to your desired speeds. New Falken tires were installed at all four corners as well as the spare to give you all the grip you demand while keeping the road noise down to a minimum. A reliable, great valued SUV that can do it all!
