The 1KZ-TE powering this Prado is fresh off an oil and filter service. It churns over with the twist of a key care of two new 12v batteries we replaced. A Suxon polished exhaust deepens the backbox tone and frees up a couple extra ponies. Thanks to a new fuel filter and new accessory belts the 3.0L runs flawlessly and pulls hard to redline. Torque is fed through the manual gearbox, and rowing gears merging up to highway speeds is a stress-free affair and pretty fun, too! To ensure the driveline stays dependable we replaced the transfercase front output seal and performed a fluid service. New gear oil has also been exchanged in the front and rear differential, too. The front axles were replaced by one of our trained techs and a new front right axle seal was taken care of. The Land Cruiser utilizes a softer suspension design which is ideal for imperfect pavement. The steering is light yet direct and benefits from a new front inner and outer tie rod.
