Toyota's spacious and reliable vans are popular the world over, and this 1996 example is something special! This Toyota HiAce Super Custom Limited boasts only 102K verified and documented miles, which is Toyota-speak for barely broken in. Set off by a set of OEM rainguards and some subtle privacy tint, our seven seater is finished in Toyota's Flaxen Mica Metallic over Topaz Mettalic (2AX). The exterior is in good nick with only minor dings, scratches, and scuffs from daily use. Powered by a powerful and efficient turbodiesel, this hauler is comfortable, refined, and capable of year-round use with its full-time 4WD. For those looking for a practical JDM ride that is just as good at the campground as it is loading up groceries at Costco, this Super Custom Limited is a great choice and a collectible Japanese Classic.

Inside the spacious cabin, you'll have all the room you or your passengers might need. The cab-over-engine model makes it feel as if one is towering over all the other vehicles on the highways or city streets. Plenty of room is available for 7 to travel comfortably, and for those weekend camping getaways the second row swivels 180 degrees and all rear seats lay down and convert into a large bed, allowing for a comfortable sleeping area when needed. Massive sunroofs are overhead all passengers, to look at the night sky or get take in some vitamin d. The front sunroof is manual and opens just fine. The middle sunroof is powered and works like a charm, as does the rear. The upholstered cloth seats show no major tears, rips, or stains and are in nice condition throughout. The dashboard is also in good shape not showing any signs of bubbling, cracking, or lifting near the windshield The driver has easy access to all the power equipment including power windows, power locks, power mirrors and retractable mirrors which are all easily controlled with a push of a button and are functioning properly. If you need to help your buddy move the third-row seat stows up and the second row can fold down allowing for a cavernous cargo area. Keeping the interior cool during the hot summer days is the automatic digital climate control with dual zones to keep all passengers comfortable. To assist with parking the driver has the factory optional clearance sonar, beeping whenever you are too close to someone or something.

Powering this full-time 4WD van is the 3.0L 1KZ-TE turbo diesel engine. The motor is well known for its die-hard reliability, sumptuous torque, and long life span. Turn key ready thanks to a fresh oil and filter service and new 12v battery, this HiAce is ready to go on an adventure. A new valve cover gasket has been installed by one of our technicians, so the four-banger stays topped up on lubricant. Peppy over city streets and comfortable on sustained highway cruises, it makes enough power to easily get up out of its own way. Although a large van, handling is predictable as the 3.0L is mounted low in the chassis, and between the axles. It brakes nicely and the power steering is light. Four brand new all-season tires were mounted at all four corners. They quiet down the ride noticeably and will provide tens of thousands of miles of grip top come.
