The Honda Odyssey is one of the most successful people movers ever produced. These fiercely reliable haulers are a dime a dozen on stateside streets and often passed down like a family heirloom. For those looking to get into an Odyssey but don't want the mileage and wear and tear of a US version, consider this JDM 1996 RA1, which boasts just 70k verified/documented miles! Finished in a clean coat of Honda's Sebring Silver Metallic (NH-552), the exterior shows well, with only light dings and scuffs present from day-to-day use in Japan. The exterior remains relatively barebones, with a OEM rear deck spoiler and privacy tint sharpening the aesthetic. The drab factory steelies were ditched in favor of a set of 16" Zack alloys which complement the sleek bodylines quite nicely. Fresh off a recent service by our trained technicians, this RA1 is a turn-key cream puff, and a Japanese Classic van sure to run laps around its overseas competition!

While the interior packs an impressive amount of features and amenities, the cabin's impressive utility steals the show by far. With the ability to seat up to 7 passengers, this is an ideal chariot to haul the whole family in, whether it's around town or on a cross country road trip! The seats are upholstered in a pillow-soft patterned grey cloth. Aside from some minor staining on the driver's seat, the material shows extremely well and clearly resisted any major accidents over the years. The driver benefits from an adjustable steering column, and additional height adjustment on the seat to help dial in a more comfortable driving position behind the wheel. The dash is clean and unobtrusive, housing an upgraded Pioneer headunit with MP3 capability on the ready to play your favorite tunes. Nestled above the radio is a fully functional automatic climate control unit, with cold A/C and hot heat on standby. For a family hauler, interior comfort is a must, and the rear passengers get dedicated access to their own set of climate controls as well. Power windows, locks, and power mirrors are all standard and fully functional, helping make the driving experience a bit more accessible for daily duty. For those choosing to fly solo, the middle row folds forward and the rear retracts completely into the floor to allow for a plethora of cargo space in the rear. This could even double as a work van for those looking to take a more unorthodox approach to ownership. Overall, this interior is more than satisfactory and should please even the most discerning buyers. We've even retained the factory owner's manual to further protect your investment!

Under the bonnet, you'll find most of the running gear to be identical to USDM odysseys, making parts acquisition and servicing a cinch. The punchy 2.2 four-banger is a formidable powerplant and has plenty of get up and go around town with no added surprises at the pump. The motor cranks over with the twist of a key and a new 12v battery was installed to properly test the alternator. Our trained technicians covered all the bases while this one was up on the lift. A fresh oil and filter service and a new valve cover gasket ensures you won't lose a drop of lubrication, and a new air filter keeps this four-pot breathing healthily. New spark plugs were installed down the board, and a new distributor keep the ignition in check, and she runs right as rain now! Acceleration is plentiful, and you'll quickly find yourself cruising at comfortable highway speeds without hesitation. The smooth shifting automatic transmission operates as intended and is the perfect mate for such a refined drivetrain. For a 25 year old vehicle, the suspension is smooth, soft, and predictable, and the brakes stop on a dime thanks to new front pads and rotors as well. This Odyssey has the equipment and maintenance to be put through it's paces already, but to sweeten the deal we've even mounted and balanced new Falken rubber on all four corners to keep grip strong for tens of thousands of miles to come!
