Van culture is growing and the thirst for vans in the United States has increased exponentially. Whether you want to haul the kids around comfortably or modify to your liking, this reliable Honda hauler is sure to fit your needs. This 1996 Honda Odyssey is finished in a brilliant Sebring Silver Metallic (NH-552),  The body is in good shape with minimal scuffs and rock chips from road use over time. With only 67K verified and documented miles on the cluster, the usage is considerably low for its age. Benefiting from a rear hatch replacement performed in Japan, the body is straight and this famously reliable Honda van is ready for its new life in America. Other than the OEM rainguards, the exterior remains true to Honda's original design. As an affordable 7-passenger vehicle for a daily commuter or a solid platform to start a clean build, this Odessy is the coolest family hauler in town.

The cabin design is simple yet functional and convenient. This 7 passenger van is quite comfy and spacious with amenities all around you. The seats are trimmed in a light gray cloth that is soft to the touch. The carpets are clean with no stains or wear and the door cards are intact and in good shape. The automatic climate control blows cold A/C or heat with the touch of one button and woodgrain trim surrounds it. The original radio was swapped out for an Eclipse headunit for your audio needs. A factory option that was added to this van was the Aird refiner which works as an in-cabin air filter system. Something we don't commonly see but such a cool and rare JDM accessory. This Odyssey comes equipped with power windows, locks, and mirrors for driver convenience and comfort for everyday commuting. 1996 was the first year that the dual SRS airbags were added for safety. The 2nd row folds down and the 3rd row collapses down into the floor, giving you an immense amount of extra storage space, when needed. An excellent choice for a commuter and family hauler that has a cool JDM vibe to go with it!

The Odyssey's mechanicals is simple and straightforward. The cost of ownership is low and these vans are simple and easy to maintain. The 2.2L F22B VTEC I4 was offered here stateside so parts are easily obtainable and maintenance can even be performed at your local Honda dealership. Matted to a 4-speed automatic transmission, the power is sent to the front wheels and easily accelerates up the road. Four brand new tires were installed here at Japanese classics to ensure that the new owner has plenty of grip for thousands of miles to come. The shifts are smooth upon acceleration and the power is linear when you want to reach your desired speeds. Although the size of this van is large, the brakes are confident when slowing down to a stop, thanks to the new brake pads and rotors that were installed up front. A simple turn of the key fires this 4 banger right up with the assist of a new 12V battery we installed. We also replaced the valve cover gasket after the vehicle was inspected as preventative maintenance. Fresh off an oil and filter service and a Virginia state inspection, this Honda Odyssey is ready and available here at Japanese Classics.
