The Honda CR-V crossover was a blessing for the brand. It was a sales success providing those who loved their Civics and Accords an all-wheel drive option with better outward visibility and more ground clearance. This 1996 is perfect for families on the go and commuters alike. Fresh off a recent service, this five-seater is offered with a mere 88k verified miles, which is a fraction of your typical American model. Finished in a lovely Cypress Green Pearl (G-82P), the bodylines are set off by a stylish OEM spoiler, front factory bash bar, tinted rainguards, and 15" Zead S6R alloys. Aside from some scratches, scuffs, dings and chips associated with normal wear and tear, the paint is in fair shape overall and drives even better! Affordable, reliable, and easy to service this year-round runabout is a wonderful and unique Japanese Classic!

For such a small footprint, the CR-V has a good deal of interior room. The abundance of headroom makes the cabin feel massive, and the tall ride height allows the driver to see their surroundings better. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and the passenger has two glove boxes to stash away precious belongings. The center stack includes a simple-to-use climate control system that blows hot heat and cold A/C on demand. Adjacent an Eclipse audio upgrade is on hand to supply all the tunes you need and works like a charm. If you plan to tailgate, crank the volume on that thing all the way up and remove the OEM picnic table from the boot! For daily use, power windows locks and mirrors are standard. These all work like they should, aside from the passenger mirror no longer being able to power fold inward. The gray seats are soft to the touch and comfortable on longer trips. They lack any major rips, holes, or tears. Like the carpets, they do have some light stains to note. A large sunroof lets in plenty of natural light to brighten the cabin. It no longer retracts but does seal out the rain as you'd expect. The headliner is in good shape as are the door cards, and overall it appears the Honda was cared for in a prior life.

The unibody platform delivers a smoother ride than our truck-based SUVs. Powered by the durable and punchy B20, this hauler is fresh off an oil and filter service. A new 12v battery supplies all the juice needed for a cold morning crank, and the 2.0L whirrs to life instantly. A new fuel filter will keep the four-banger supplied with clean fuel for proper combustion and the B series revs strong all the way to redline. It's connected to an automatic gearbox that does a decent job of maximizing its revvy powerband. The light curb weight means it feels peppy when you mash the right pedal, and sustained highway cruising is comfortable. New trailing arm bushings along with all new struts have been installed by one of our trained techs to refresh the ride. She drives right as rain now, and handles potholes and road imperfections with confidence. The brakes feel assured and the power steering is light, yet on point. To complete its mechanical needs, the 15" alloys were wrapped in Falken all-season tires. The new rubber not only reduces road noise, but will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
