The Toyota Soarer is a sizable, elegant, and powerful machine. This rear-drive, twin-turbo '95 is finished in a pretty Diamond Pearl White (051), with a mere 85K verified miles. The body is in good shape other than some minor dings, scuffs, and chips associated with normal use. Renowned for its reliability, these Soarers offer a low cost of ownership and a much better drivetrain than your stateside SC300/400. Legally imported and fresh off a recent service, this Toyota would no doubt, be an ideal daily driver or weekend toy for this summer!

To say the least, it's remarkable how nice the cockpit is in the Soarer. Like the exterior, designers used flowing lines and soft-touch surfaces to create an upscale experience. The floating gauges of the digital dash still look impressive and modern conveniences such as power-folding mirrors, auto windows, and power locks are all standard. Best of all they still work, and this Soarer even has the factory plush carpet mats and OEM owners manuals still inside. The dash is in good shape, lacking any major imperfections such as sun fading and cracking. The digital climate system works as well and the vents pump in cold A/C to the cabin for these long summer months. As a grand tourer, you may see some long road trips in this car and as such, it important to know the audio is functional and simple to use. Two cupholders are also standard, and there is a sizable glovebox and center console for additional storage. The headliners, door cards, and carpets have also been kept up well over the years, and its obvious this Toyota was cared for in Japan.

The engine Toyota chose for this ZZ30 Soarer is one of the best mills they ever designed. Displacing 2491cc, the silky smooth 1JZ-GTE fires up immediately, and sets into a near vibration-free idle. The 2.5 benefits from a fresh oil and filter service and a new engine air filter. The 1J actually returns decent fuel economy, but enthusiasts love it because of the copious amounts of factory horsepower, and prodigious torque this sump creates. Acceleration is brisk and power is sent rearward through an automatic gearbox. The transmission shifts properly and the sleek two-door sails up to and above legal speeds with ease. The OEM suspension is still in good shape and the brakes are confident slowing the Soarer down from higher speeds. The power steering is lightly weighted and the OEM alloys all feature new tires that have been mounted and balanced by one of our trained technicians.
