The Hilux Surf is one of the top SUVs we sell here at Japanese Classics. This spacious midsize SUV is a rugged and reliable rig, that is civil on-road, and a beast off-road. Whether overlanding on the weekend or as a daily commuter, this Hilux Surf can handle whatever is thrown at it. Our 1995 Hilux Surf is offered with a mere 114K verified and documented miles and is turn-key good to go. Finished in a stunning Natural White (056) paint and a body in good shape for its age, aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Accessorized with an OEM brushguard with fog lights, and a set of factory rainguards, this KZN130 turns more than a few heads. Freshly serviced and boasting slick, new Skyjacker suspension this SUV is perhaps the best driving unit we have offered to date. Capable, efficient, rare, durable, and fast this Hilux Surf is a top-tier Japanese Classic.

The interior is simple, roomy, and comfortable. The cabin is large enough to seat five passengers, with cargo space to spare for luggage. This N130 would be fantastic as a family hauler, and trips to pickup the kids at school are more fun with a RHD ride. The Hilux is equipped with a special Recaro interior which admittedly steals the show. They lack any major wear such as rips, stains, or tears, and are highly supportive. The original steering wheel was ditched with a TND aftermarket unit for better grip. It also ties into the exterior hue and breaks up the charcoal interior well. The dash is clear of any UV damage and lacks major imperfections, which do plague these models. The Pioneer head unit replaced the factory radio, which is a wonderful upgrade if you're planning to log some serious miles on this truck. The A/C and heat are fully operational allowing for year-round use. The headliner, door cards, and carpet all look good and have avoided major abuse over the years. No major stains, rips, or tears were noted upon inspection. Additional power amenities included in this Surf are electric windows, mirrors, rear glass, mirrors, and locks all of which work as advertised. The original owner's manuals can be found in the glove box, which adds to the truck's originality.

We finally get to experience the 1KZ-TE engine here stateside, while the rest of the world has enjoyed it for years. This engine is no slouch for being a 4 banger, providing plenty of power while staying highly efficient. The 3.0L is fresh off an oil and filter service and runs like a champ. Acceleration is impressive and it's easy to get up to and above highway merging speeds. The 4-speed auto transmission is well designed and shifts seamlessly every time. The suspension is all-new and features Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks. The ride quality is above average and even on abysmal pavement this thing hardly squeaks shudders or rattles. You would think an aftermarket suspension setup would be harsh and unbearable but its the complete opposite. The steering is tight and nicely weighted, and the brakes are responsive to your requests. The aftermarket alloys are wrapped in aggressive Falken all-terrain rubber that are knee-deep in the tread.
