Subaru was put on the map when they designed the Impreza WRX for the World Rally Championship in the early 90s. Just an iconic as the WRX name is world rally blue paired with gold wheel, a winning combination both on and off the WRC stages. This 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX was originally finished in Brilliant Red (559) when it left the Subaru factory but was refinished in World Rally Blue (02C) by its previous owner in Japan. Combined with a stunning 44K verified and documented miles this Impreza is hard to beat! The body is in outstanding condition with no noticeable dents or scratches. Just off a recent service and inspection, this translates to the turn key Impreza WRX you've been searching for!

The cabin is very tidy and remains largely original with just a few upgrades. A leather Nardi Torino steering wheel and shift knob are standard equipment in the WRX, and are actually a nice change from the traditional MOMO steering wheels offered stateside. Seats are wrapped in a mix of dark gray cloth with light gray Alcantara inserts which are very soft to the touch. Seat bolsters are excellent with minimal wear and no rips or tears. The gauges are easy to read and the dash reveals no cracks or bubbling. This one is well taken care of and it shows it. Mounted above the gauge cluster is a digital boost gauge, to give you more accurate readings at a quick glance. The headliner is clear of stains or sagging, door cards are nice but not perfect with the driver door having some delamination along the top near the window. Overall that is the only significant damage on all four door panels. The back seats appear nearly unused and in great condition. Power windows, mirrors, and locks are standard and are all operable. Also, when you need to fit in a tight parking spot, you have the option to fold the mirrors in with the push of a button, an option found in most luxury vehicles today. An aftermarket Carrozzeria double din head unit has been installed to control the tunes and functions properly. Granted, it is in Japanese but is intuitive to operate. The original owner's manual can be found in the glove box which is nice to have with a vehicle of this age.

Subaru's EJ20 boxer engine has been around for decades. With the unique design and distinctive sound, they do stand out from their competition. Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the driver is in complete control of gear choice no matter the driving situation. Shifts engage with ease, no grinds or hesitation. Power is sent to all 4 wheels allowing the symmetrical all-wheel-drive system traction at all times. A set of 16" gold Speedline wheels have been added to further the WRC theme and are wrapped with brand new tires for the next new owner. The suspension is solid and takes on the road bumps with no issues. The previous owner added a Fujitsubo catback exhaust that allows the boxer rumble to come alive through acceleration. Upon inspection, we went ahead and installed new valve cover gaskets, performed a fresh oil and filter service, and for instant start-up, a new 12V battery was also installed. This Impreza is turn-key ready for the next new owner with peace of mind.
