1995 Nissan Z32
Nissan had a very competitive model lineup in the 90s, and the Z32 Fairlady is one of the most underrated sports cars of its time. The timeless design of the Z32 screams sports car to this day and is still a heavy contender in the realm of capable sports cars. This 1995 example is finished in Super Black (KH3), represented in good overall condition. The paint is in good overall shape but does show minor blemishes and imperfections from normal use. The orange front turn signals were ditched for clear DSpeed ones, and the OEM 99 spec taillights complete the overall look. Being 26 years young, this Fairlady is offered with 143K verified and documented miles and has been well maintained throughout its time in Japan. This wonderful Grand Touring coupe is ready for summer cruises with the tops off!
The cabin is clean and has been well maintained with minimal modifications. Sitting in the cockpit you'd think you are in a fighter jet with all the dials and controls easily within the driver's reach. The factory steering wheel was ditched for a MOMO sport wheel which does show both wear and age. It does however provide a smaller diameter than the stock wheel for increased control. The dash is in good nick, no cracking or bubbling is present nor is any major UV damage. The seats are nice showing no rips and the bolsters are in good shape with minimal wear. No stains or tears are detected throughout the carpet or headliner, only the passenger t-top shade has a small rip on it. It does not affect the functionality of keeping light out but is worth noting. An aftermarket Carrozzeria fold-out head unit was installed in Japan and is functional. The door cards are in very nice shape and are wrapped in carbon fiber style vinyl, much less boring than the original tweed. Power amenities include windows, locks, and mirrors all of which work properly. The A/C no longer blows cold due to a bad compress but the heat is available on demand, with all HVAC controls to the left of the driver steering wheel instead of the center.
Nicely tucked under the bonnet is the VG30DE engine. This Z32 is easily serviceable in the US as almost all of the parts are interchangeable with its US counterpart. The engine fires up quickly thanks to a new 12V battery and new spark plugs installed by our trained technicians. Additionally, a fresh oil and filter service was performed so the next new owner doesn't have to be concerned with that service for another 3,000 miles. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts silky smooth. No grinds or slop in the shifter when you are shifting through the gears. Acceleration is straightforward with this naturally aspirated engine and gives you plenty of torque off the line. Power is delivered to the rear wheels and the 4 brand new tires help keep traction to the road. The stock wheels were replaced with 18" BIM creative wheels, that scream 90's. The Suspension is responsive and height adjustment is provided by aftermarket coilovers. It was also due for front right inner and outer tie rods, and our trained technicians have replaced them both. The previous owner in Japan installed a Real Speed stainless cat-back exhaust and downpipes that sounds phenomenal especially in high RPM. Brakes are confident and responsive thanks to brand new brake pads, along with new rotors all around. Turn-key ready this head-turner is ready for the new owner to enjoy.
