Stock #5933
Stock #5933With eye-catching angular styling and a nearly bulletproof turbodiesel driveline, its no wonder this 1995 Land Cruiser is a Japanese Classic. Finished in a one-off Fuji White, this timeless design is set off by a set of aftermarket alloys, factory rainguards, new 3" Ironman 4x4 lift, and subtle rear privacy tint. Aside from a few light dings, chips and scuffs this Cruiser is in good shape and is fresh off a recent service. Offered with only 146k verified and documented miles, this tough and reliable turbodiesel is turn-key and ready to roll. Iconic, capable, and collectible this Japanese Classic would be a wonderful daily driver, weekend off-roader, or fun family hauler. The cabin is in above-average condition, and was obviously cared for in a prior life. Unlike many of these Cruisers, the dash is in good shape and lacks any major cracks. The gray and blue hues of the interior are broken up by a woodgrain and leather Nardi steering wheel. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column and electric lumbar support to find the ideal driving position. A simple to use manual climate system funnels heat and cold A/C through the cabin at a moment's notice and the Pioneer headunit above pumps the tunes. For more natural ventilation a power moonroof can be rolled back and the side windows are powered, too. Rarely seen working, keyless entry and power locks make daily use more enjoyable, especially if your hands are full with groceries. The upholstery lacks any major rips, stains or tears and is comfortable on longer hauls. The alcantara trimmed interior is soft to the touch, and the desirable third-row option makes for two extra seats when you're in a pinch. The headliner, door cards, and carpets have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as we wanted to note the left mirror is no longer power-adjustable. Still, at 25 years of age, its clear this car was cared for in Japan. Under the long bonnet rests the legendary 1KZ-TE turbodiesel. This 3.0L is fresh off an oil and filter service and turns over with the twist of a key, thanks to a newly installed 12v battery. A new engine air filter and new fuel filter aid the four banger in its seamless operation and a new valve cover gasket ensures it stays topped up on lubricant. We didn't stop there as we also installed a new front main seal and she now runs right as rain. The 1KZ is linked to a stout automatic gearbox and a selective transfercase. Shifts are assured and this rig easily sails up to highway speeds and can merge safely thanks to its premium outward visibility. If a beach trip is in order, low-range 4WD can be engaged, as well. The suspension offers plenty of ground clearance and the long wheelbase is stable on the highway compared to the choppier ride of the short-wheelbase Prados. The new Ironman 4x4 lift delivers a much more refined ride than our average J78 and adjustable front and rear panhard bars were added, too! The power steering is light and benefits from a brand new steering stabilizer installed by one of our trained techs. The brakes feel capable and grip comes from freshly mounted 33" Falken all terrain rubber sitting at all four corners and a fresh alignment will prolong tire life. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
