Exterior Overview
The 70 series Land Cruiser is a model with a lot of staying power. This 1995 Prado is one of the best iterations of the chassis, as it boasts a long wheelbase for cruising stability, a bulletproof turbodiesel drivetrain, and a determined 4WD system. Featuring Rambo-esque styling, this example is finished in a striking Silver Pine Metallic (6UO). Set off by an OEM optional brushguard, factory rainguards, chrome mirror caps, chrome door handles, privacy tint, and aggressive 16″ Ligure Project Stella wheels, the cosmetics show well overall, with only a few basic paint imperfections to note. Best of all, the 106k miles on the ticker are verified and documented, which does a lot to keep this rig collectible and capable for daily driving. The coolest truck at your local cars and coffee, Toyota cruise-in, or weekend trail expedition, this is one Japanese Classic cruiser that ages like wine!
Interior Overview
The interior is fashioned in a snazzy multicolored cloth, and it boasts a lot of appealing options, like third-row seating and a full slate of power amenities. Free of any unwanted rips, stains, or tears, the seating surfaces show well overall, and the matching grey vinyl on the dash is in good nick. Supporting forward passengers in comfort and overall accessibility, the center stack frames an easy-to-use climate control unit, which is primed to pump out cold A/C and hot heat on command. Adjacent to the HVAC, flip-up Pioneer audio works like a charm. For those looking to drive this rig daily, worry not, as the power windows, locks, and electric side mirrors are all in good operation. The driver can find the ideal driving position thanks to a tilt adjuable steering column and a power adjuable lumbar support within the seat. It’s also ideal for hauling around a full squad of passengers with available third row seating. If you’re flying solo or transporting some oversized goods, the middle bench can tumble forward and the rear seats easily deploy against the quarter windows for maximum square footage. The headliner has resisted any of the major sagging these models are known for, and the plush carpeting beneath is in great shape overall. For almost 30 years young, the cabin condition is impressive, and if you can see past a tiny crack atop the factory gauge cluster and a speedo with a broken needle we think the next owner will agree. On the positive side, it’s hard to notice this tiny crack and we have a digital speedometer that plugs into the 12v to remedy the issue with the speedometer. Even the OEM carpet mats are included with the purchase!
Mechanical Overview
Constructed on a robust body on frame platform, this Cruiser was built to take a beating. The 1KZ-TE under the bonnet is no different, and ours has the added benefit of a comprehensive recent service performed by our trained technicians. We started by installing a new 12v battery to aid ignition, and a courtesy oil and filter service was performed. We also screwed on a new fuel filter to rid the 3.0 of pesky contaminants, and we replaced the valve cover gasket up top to ensure you don’t lose a drop of lubricant between change intervals. With the maintenance performed, the 1K makes quick work of stoplight sprints and highway cruises. There’s ample torque down low, and power is shot through an automatic gearbox, which transfers power smoothly to the rear wheels. For off-road escapades and adventures, 4WD clicks on at the push of a button, with electronic locking front hubs for additional traction. We even replaced the rear output seal at the transfer case to ensure seamless operation. New rear trailing arm bushings were pressed in to aid handling, as were the rear panhard bushings. This truck is stable enough to cruise on the interstate with ease and gobble up road imperfections without a hitch! The power steering is comfortable to use, thanks to a full rebuild of the pump, and the brakes stop on a dime if needed. The snazzy 8-spoke alloys are wrapped in fresh, beefy, all-terrain Falken tires. A menacing aesthetic, they look good and should drive well for tens of thousands of miles to come! A fresh alignment completes the shop ticket, and this baby now drives like a dream!

CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
