If you've been following our inventory for a while, you should know we at Japanese Classics are no strangers to clean, well-maintained Toyota SUVs. The 80 series Land Cruiser is one of our hottest sellers, and for good reason. In factory form, these full-size SUVs are extraordinarily capable, tackling on and offroad duty efficiently and effectively, but when you add a 5" lift, high clearance bodywork, and massive 37" Falken tires, the Land Cruiser transforms into a Land Crusher. This unique 1995 FZJ80 boasts 137k verified and documented miles, which is barely broken in for the nearly bulletproof 1FZ-FE engine and is fresh off a recent service. This VX-L has all the tools needed to conquer any terrain it encounters, all the while transporting up to five occupants in comfort. Finished in a striking Desert Dune Gray over Moonglow Pearl (2AB), this 80 series is already a looker, but one-off steel front and rear bumpers give this Cruiser a menacing off-road silhouette and the ability to clear anything from speed bumps to boulders. A set of black aftermarket wheels complement the exterior color, but it's no secret that the 37" rubber is what makes this Land Cruiser really stand out. OEM rainguards, an aftermarket roof basket, and aftermarket LED tail lights add some subtle flair to the already bold exterior, and aside from some light chips and dings associated with normal use the exterior shows well and is ready to get down and dirty. From the mountains of Moab to your local grocery parking, this terrific turn-key Toyota is trustworthy, collectible, convenient to service, and ideal for year-round use!

Thought all the fun stopped at the exterior? Think again. This rig has all the interior space and amenities needed to satisfy drivers and passengers alike! The factory tan cloth upholstery has been masked by sleek black leather seat covers. The material is supple and shows only typical signs of use over the years. The dash and other interior plastics are trimmed in a complementary tan finish with wood grain accents. The dash is free of any pesky cracks or sun fading that commonly plagues most 80 series Cruisers, and packs plenty of equipment to keep the ride ahead comfortable. Automatic climate control is available at the push of a button and blows ice-cold A/C for a little extra relief on those hot desert trails. Toasty heat is on standby if you choose to traverse the frozen tundra instead, and rear passengers have access to their own set of climate vents as well. USDM Sony audio plays clearly and includes seamless Bluetooth integration with Apple Carplay and Android Auto on hand, and an OEM field monitor is in good working order. The driver benefits from a manually adjustable steering column and dual SRS airbags are at attention in case of any unfortunate events. Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, and a power moonroof all function as expected, however, we must note that the power folding mirror feature no longer works. The middle row is extremely versatile, folding all the way forward for extra cargo space or reclining for anyone looking to catch a quick snooze. With the seats forward there's even room to fit a couple of sleeping bags in the back! A true Swiss army knife of interiors, this Land Cruiser does it all, and aside from some light wear on the upholstery, it's hard to complain about the condition.

Under the hood sits Toyota's dependable 1FZ-FE gasoline powerplant. Enthusiasts will instantly recognize this 4.5L motor as the same standard equipment in the USDM 80 Series, which makes servicing and parts acquisition a cakewalk. The motor springs to life, care of a new 12V battery and engine air filter. The 4.5L purrs confidently, accentuating the inline-six engine note with a full catback exhaust. One of our trained techs has installed a new water pump, which will add some peace of mind for the new owner if they have an immediate road trip planned. Paired with a smooth shifting automatic transmission, this FZ climbs up to highway speeds without hesitation and cruises comfortably, although this truck feels most comfortable on the trails or putting around town. The selectable transfer case offers both high and low gears for when this 80 Series inevitably tackles some tough terrain. A center locker can be engaged if you happen to be on a loose surface like sand or snow. The suspension is surprisingly predictable and rides smoothly and confidently over bumps. We've performed a fair amount of work on this Cruiser to ensure the next owner will be able to enjoy the road ahead, with no reservations. The braking system has been completely refreshed, with replacement calipers, lines, and hoses on all four corners. Fresh brake pads were installed up front and new rotors and emergency brake shoes on the rear. We even rebuilt the master cylinder to ensure this behemoth will always stop on a dime. A new A/C condenser will keep the cabin cool for years to come, and a new thermostat and expansion valve ensures you won't risk running hot on even the most demanding of trails. On top of all this, we performed a fresh alignment and mounted and balanced 4 new TOYO tires which significantly quiet down any serious road noise and more importantly will keep this all-terrain athlete powering on for tens of thousands of miles to come!
