Stock #5559***This WRX is in above average structural condition and has previously passed Virginia State Safety Inspection, but the engine showing early signs of rod knock and will need replacement. The vehicle runs and drives, but you must bring a trailer to pick up this Impreza or have it shippedLooking at the WRX's and STi's of today, it's hard to imagine that the humble GC8 Impreza is where it all started, but over the years these classic rally-inspired pocket rockets have maintained the same diehard enthusiast following that was there in the beginning. This 1995 Impreza WRX is a fine example of the very first generation of WRX production, and with an untouched engine and original body, it could very well be your next project to customize to your own desires. Finished in a fresh coat of Ice Silver Metallic (G1U) the body shows well, with nothing more than a few scuffs and dings present from day to day use. Set off by a large OEM rear wing, BEO S03 wheels, OEM side skirts, spats, and optional rear strakes, this WRX is chock full of OEM + goodies and looks so good you may look right past the knock! Just past the 127k verified/documented mile mark, this one is fresh off a recent check over in-house and turn key ready to take home to your garage. For an all-season warrior with garage queen looks, this Japanese Classic WRX is a great investment no matter which way you spin it. The interior is spacious and a fine example of Subaru's innovation in the early 90's. The alcantara trimmed seats are in great nick, and the dash is trimmed in black vinyl and is in good shape overall, with no distinguishable cracks, peeling, or UV damage to note. The driver benefits from a sleek factory MOMO steering wheel, which shows some wear and is affixed to a tilt adjustable steering column to help dial in the perfect driving position. Positioned where the radio typically lies is a fully functional Lamco gauge suite, and most importantly an easy to operate automatic climate control unit. Cold A/C is on deck when needed, and the piping hot heat is functional if you need to use this one as a winter warrior. Power windows, power locks, and power mirrors are all operational and make daily duty a bit more comfortable for all pilots and passengers. Even the power moonroof still works! While the interior appears compact, the rear seats do a fine job at hauling around additional passengers and the trunk serves up plenty of extra space to carry your day to day necessities. Overall, the interior condition is fantastic for the age, and aside from some expected damage to the steering wheel and shift knob it should be plenty adequate for any aspiring rally driver.Under the hood, Subaru's classic WRX formula strikes again, and this one is a stones throw away from getting back on the road! Power is delivered care of a robust turbocharged boxer four, and these early EJ's still share a good amount of parts with later model Subies, making servicing a cinch! Showing early signs of rod knock, the EJ205 is a formidable choice when tuned up correctly and a close ratio 5 speed manual gearbox is the perfect pairing for this rally inspired drivetrain. We did want to note the alternator and A/C compressor were removed and the power steering pump is not currently hooked up. The factory suspension is more than adequate for soaking up road imperfections, and it can also boogie down in those backroad twists and turns as well. The brakes bite hard, and a set of new Falken tires should give you plenty of grip for the road ahead. Free of any unwanted leaks, seeps, or safety concerns, this WRX needs a new heart to be roadworthy and is one heck of a steal for this iconic chassis!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
