Honda is one of the most respected automotive manufacturers to date. Its reputation for rigorous quality standards, efficiency, and low cost of ownership were forged over many decades with the Accord being one of its most famous chassis. Offered with only 62K verified miles, this 1995 wagon is finished is a gorgeous Bordeaux Red Pearl (R78P), the body is in good shape other than some light chips, scuffs, and dings associated with normal use. Sold after a slate of recent maintenance items, and a surprising number of power amenities, this Accord is an incredible value and has been well cared for over the years.

The interior is typical Honda and touts descent ergonomics along with some premium materials. Visibility is clear of the road ahead, and the low-slung dash is both unobtrusive and in good condition. A telescoping wheel with SRS airbag is equipped and steering-wheel-mounted cruise control. The gauges are all easy to read and clear, and the digital climate control has a clean display with large buttons for ease of use. The A/C blows cold, and the heat works so the Accord can handle each weather extreme. If you prefer a more natural breeze, the large OEM sunroof retracts with the press of a button located on the dashboard. The audio functions as it should and a set of cupholders are placed next to the center console that can be used for storage. The glove box is somewhat sizable and the factory owner's manual is still in there for originality's sake. The front and rear seats are upholstered in gray cloth and are still soft to the touch. They are bolstered for comfort on long trips and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The rears are in equally good condition and fold down for more cargo room. Power windows, locks, and mirrors are all standard and they all function except for the power-folding portion of the mirrors. A security shade and privacy tint obscure cargo items in the rear and keep temps down inside the cabin.

The engine and driveline are classic Honda as well. The Accord is the type of car you just hop in and drive, and not worry about. Powered by the F22B four-cylinder, the front-drive wagon returns decent fuel economy while managing enough power to safely merge onto US interstates. It benefits from a fresh oil and filter service and runs like a top. A new air filter improves engine breathing a touch, and won't be needing a replacement for a while. The transmission shifts as it should, and runs through the gears without hesitation. The steering is light and power-assisted, and the suspension is soft and handles bumps with confidence. The car's footprint isn't massive, and like most Hondas of this era, it is relatively maneuverable. The brakes feel assured and the alloys are wrapped in new all-season rubber-mounted and balanced by one of our trained techs.

This Accord is a swiss army knife of sorts. Offering wonderful utility, and a low cost of ownership, this Honda Accord US Wagon is a great value, and surely a Japanese Classic.
