Exterior Overview
Most go-anywhere do-anything vehicles are big old lifted trucks. When you value capability so much, often times the passenger experience is going to suffer. Toyota surmised this didn’t have to be the case when it developed the HiAce model. This 1995 is powered by a gutty turbodiesel and underpinned with a capable Full-Time 4WD system. Offered with a scant 73k verified and documented miles on the clock, this year-round hauler is barely broken in. Finished in a classic Reddish Brown over Light Beige (21T) this Super Custom Limited is set off by refinished 16″ WEDS Keeler alloys, eye-catching vinyl, OEM rainguards, and some rear privacy tint. Aside from a noted front bumper replacement in Japan and a few errant dings, chips, and scuffs the paint is in good shape. Ideal for adventurous types, these eight-seat haulers can be daily driven, too. Practical, premium vans like this Japanese Classic are tough to beat for the money and make traversing tough terrain just as comfortable as cruising to Costco to load up on the essentials.
Interior Overview
The cabin is spacious, filled with premium materials, and comes with loads of equipment. One of the highlights of the interior is the suite of three moonroofs. The front unit tilts up, the massive middle panoramic section slides back, and the rear roof tilts upward! Besides sleeping under the stars, this setup adds some natural ventilation to the HiAce’s dual zone heat and A/C system. Another neat option is the OEM trash receptacle located in the passenger footwell, for some added convenience. The cabover design allows those riding up front a clear view of the road ahead. The dashboard is low-lying and lacks any cracking or fading. To find the ideal driving position the driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column. The power folding mirrors, power door locks, and power windows all work in typical Toyota fashion, making daily use more enjoyable. The AddZest radio adds some 90’s appeal and supplements your drive with some tunes. Entry to the rear is seamless thanks to a large sliding door. It includes a soft close feature that pulls it closed when left ajar, which prevents the battery from draining. The tan cloth seats are in above-average shape and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The middle row can slide and swivel 180 degrees. You can also fold the rear row and middle row together to form a sleeping surface. The carpets and headliner are in good shape and even owner manuals are included with the purchase.
