Need a unique, off-road fun mobile? Look no further than this distinctive 1994 Mitsubishi Delica. Finished in a one-off Army Drab bedlined paint, this 4x4 rig is set off by refinished 16" aftermarket alloys, front OEM rainguards, and a couple of trail-rated accessories. The panel wagon rear section adds a bit of privacy and has been adorned with a useful pullout awning, travel shovel, and a set of recovery boards. Fresh off a recent service, which included a new timing belt and water pump, this overlander is turn-key and ready to rock, and is offered with a mere 99k verified and documented miles on the clock. For adventurers on the go, families who like to explore, or those looking for a unique year-round daily driver, it doesn't get any more special than this superb Japanese Classic.

The cabin is a big step up from the earlier model, and is packed with more features and usable space. Instead of a huge hump in the center of the cockpit like the L300, a flat loading floor can be found from the front of this Space Gear all the way to the back. The driver has a commanding view of the road below, and an adjustable steering column can be utilized to find the ideal driving position. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, which can be a common occurrence due to prolonged sun exposure. An off-road-themed Field Monitor sits front and center and displays info about the exterior conditions to the pilot, although the compass has given up the ghost. Touchscreen Sony audio blends Bluetooth functionality with upgraded speakers and automatic climate control make daily use enjoyable, and power windows, door locks, and mirrors work as they should although the power folding feature has given up the ghost on one. The upholstery is in good shape and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The middle row can be swiveled 180 degrees to face the rear and there are lots of flexible seating combinations in case you want to take this transporter to the campground. The carpets and headliner do have some light staining, but that is common for such a light-colored cloth on a vehicle of this age. On the positive side, the door cards are in fair shape, and overall, the cabin appears to have been properly cared for in a prior life overseas. We even have the original owners manuals to give to the new buyer!

This L400 is powered by the trusty 4G72 V6. At 3.0L. It makes plenty of power to get out of its own way, and this one is fresh off an oil and filter service. A slate of maintenance items was taken care of by one of our trained technicians, including new accessory belts, a new fuel filter, an engine air filter, as well as new plugs and wires. The rear cam seals have been resealed while we had the van on the lift, too and we replaced the valve cover gaskets, as well. With the six-cylinder ready to roll we replaced the Japanese battery with a brand-new US unit to ensure quick ignition, even on the coldest of winter nights. As many people will be looking to take a good long road trip in such a wonderful rig, we performed the most expensive and time-consuming preventative maintenance item, which was the replacement of the timing belt and water pump. The six-cylinder is linked to a smooth shifting automatic. Power can be fed to the rear wheel or all four depending on the driver's preference. If a beach outing is in the cards a low range and center locker can be deployed to keep the momentum moving forward. On the highway, the Mitsubishi can cruise comfortably with its long wheelbase promoting high-speed stability. The suspension offers loads of ground clearance and can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse. New trailing arm bushings were installed for state inspection. The power steering is light and direct, with a new right rack boot and right front inner tie rod replacement. The brakes stop on a dime thanks to new front brake pads and rotors, and grip comes from four new 31"  Wildpeak all-terrain tires mounted at all four corners.
