Toyota's Aristo is one vehicle that just seems to get everything right. Blending the exhilarating performance of the brand's flagship Supra with the comfort and finish of the luxurious Lexus lineup. This JZS147 is a true sports sedan that can hold its own as a plush VIP transporter as well! Our 1995 model is a fine example, and this 3.0V is powered by the legendary 2JZ-GTE engine on board. With only 36k verified miles on the clock, this one would make a worthy garage queen or weekend warrior for the discerning Toyota enthusiast. Finished from the factory in Toyota's Star Sapphire Pearl (8L1) the exterior looks luxurious, with only a few notable dings, scratches, and chips present from normal wear and tear. While these big bodies are normally vessels for body kits and extreme exterior modification, the outside on this one has remained mostly stock, with only a tasteful WALD ducktail spoiler sprucing up the rear end a bit. Rolling on a snazzy set of polished 16" factory alloys, this Aristo is fresh off a recent service and ready to tear up our stateside streets. Comfortable, stylish, and deceivingly quick, the 3.0 Aristo is everything a Japanese Classic should be!

From the looks of the interior, you'd never notice this sport sedan's performance car roots. The plush grey upholstery and sweeping low-profile dash are trimmed in quality materials, and the cockpit comes ripe with enough power amenities to make the daily driving experience smooth and stress-free! The power front seats function as expected and the driver even benefits from a power tilt and telescoping steering column to dial in the ideal driving position! Accessibility doesn't stop there, and the front passengers benefit from dual SRS airbags for some extra piece of mind on the road. The striped cloth upholstery shows well, with no rips, tears, stains, or burns to note on the seats, and the matching grey leather on the door cards show well to boot! Some may say the previous owner pampered this one overseas, we think it's just a testament to the quality Toyota was pushing onto the production line in the 1990s. The dash is in good nick, showing no notable cracks, peeling, or UV damage, and the lower tortoise dash trim follows suit. Nestled in the center stack is functional OEM audio and a digital automatic climate control display. The climate control is easy to use and, for our Virginian clientele, cold A/C and hot heat are both easily accessed for when the weather can't make up its mind. A handful of power amenities are on deck to make the drive pleasurable, from a quick jaunt around the city to a full-fledged road trip. Power windows are on tap at all four corners and power locks work too. The power folding mirrors are in good operation and the factory keyless entry system works at the push of a button! There's even a moonroof that can be unfurled to let some more natural ventilation in the cabin. The rear seats are quite spacious, seat three extra passengers without issue, and the trunk even serves up plenty of space for additional cargo. Overall, the condition of this cabin is nothing to turn your nose up at, and we've even retained the factory owner's manual and maintenance booklets as well!

The powerhouse 2JZ-GTE engine is right where it belongs under the bonnet of this Aristo, and with a stout 276 hp on tap, this thing is an absolute hoot to pilot around town. This ferocious inline six fires right up, care of a new 12v battery which we also installed to ensure the alternator was in good condition. A new air filter was installed to keep her breathing clear, and we performed a fresh oil and filter service to keep lubrication in check. The twin turbos certainly make themselves known while driving, and this thing is as much of a blast light-to-light as it is at blistering highway speeds, where it rides comfortably and confidently. The 4 speed automatic transmission is a good mate for this sturdy motor and shifts are smooth and leave little to be desired out of this transporter. A factory LSD hammers the power down to the rear wheels and really helps dial in this Aristo's handling in the twisties. We've fully refreshed the drivetrain, replacing the front traction arm bushings and right wheel bearing and she rides right as rain. The suspension is soft and gobbles up road imperfections large and small without skipping a beat, and fresh Falken rubber on all four corners keeps the ride quality top-notch while delivering plenty of grip in all road conditions. The power steering is easily maneuverable and on point, and we've even performed a fresh alignment to ensure this Aristo tracks straight for many fun-filled miles to come.
