Stock #5799Toyota's UCF platform shook the world upon its debut, boasting top notch build quality, a full slate of amenities, all built off steadfast Toyota underpinnings. There's a reason why Celsiors and LS series vehicles are commonly seen putting along our stateside highways to this day, and why there have been multiple million-mile examples logged throughout enthusiast circles. The UCF10 Celsior is just that good. Our 1994 model, while offered up with unverified miles, seems to have stood the test of time quite well, and is ready for a fruitful life stateside. Finished in a rare Dark Blue Mica (8J5) the paint itself shows well, although there are some dents, chips, and paint fade typical of any 29-year-old vehicle. Offered up in stunning unmodified form, the only change to the exterior is a set of period-correct 16" Weds Leonis alloys, which look as if they could be OEM as well. A reliable transporter that's stood the test of time, this Japanese Classic Celsior is a comfortable, capable cruiser that is ready for tens of thousands of uninterrupted miles and smiles! The cabin is trimmed in blue and grey executive wool, and shows well despite the vehicle's age. Packed to the brim with amenities, it's clear the previous owner cared well for this one as nearly every factory option works without issue! Both front seats are powered, and the material is in good nick, save for some expected discoloration and wear on the driver's bucket. The driver also benefits from a power tilt and telescoping steering column, and an optional SRS airbag for some additional peace of mind behind the wheel. Toyota even thought to bless both driver and passenger with a power-adjustable seatbelt, further aiding this one's comfort-oriented design. The center stack is trimmed in matte black with faux wood accents. Factory upgraded audio is present, although the volume knob seems to work intermittently and the fully functional digital automatic climate control unit works as intended above, with cold A/C and hot heat on the ready to condition the cabin. Staying true to the spirit of the 1990's, the rest of the interior trimmings are done in a blue vinyl, including the dash which has fortunately resisted major UV damage or distortion over the years. The rear seats serve up ample room for three additional passengers to sit comfortably on road trips, and all occupants gain access to fully functioning power windows and locks. Additionally, the power folding mirrors work well for anyone squeezing this thing into tight parking spots. Even the factory parking pole switch works! Overall, Toyota's forward thinking really paid off in the long run, as this cabin is perfectly appointed for daily driving even three decades later.Mechanically this Celsior is just as clean as the rest of the car. Power comes compliments of Toyota's silky-smooth 1UZ-FE. The 4.0 V8 fires right up thanks to a new 12v battery, and parts are easily interchangeable with stateside LS400's. For a V8 it's shocking just how quiet and vibration free the motor operates. The infamous Champagne Glass commercial on YouTube can attest to this. Better yet, we've done the legwork of performing a fresh timing belt and water pump service to get you set for the next 10 years or 100k km's. Additionally, we've replaced the thermostat, valve cover gaskets and installed new spark plugs while we were in there. The power delivery is smooth and with more than enough power to get you around cars blocking up the passing lane. The suspension is unique and has a traditional spring setup with adjustable dampers controlled by Toyota's "TEMS" system. You have the ability to firm up the suspension when necessary without having the hassle of the air suspension which is prone to leaking over time. While most of our customers are simply looking for a killer new daily, we do have some out looking for a clean VIP build chassis. For those enthusiasts, this is much easier to convert to coilovers or a fully adjustable air setup. The automatic transmission is equally as smooth in operation; shifting in and out of gear without any hiccups thanks to a new transmission mount. Power is hammered down to the rear wheels without issue, and a new left rear wheel bearing was installed to shore up the drivetrain a bit. The power steering system makes these big sedans feel surprisingly light on their feet so parallel parking is a breeze, and the brakes clamp down hard to slow this one to a halt if needed. The new Falken all-season tires further insulate the cabin against any unwanted NVH, and should provide plenty of grip throughout the year! *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
