The JZA80 (MKIV) chassis is one of the most recognizable and sought after Japanese muscle cars from the early 90's and there's good reason for it. The distinctive, round bodywork is known world wide, backed by the notoriously bulletproof 2JZ-GE, and sublime 5 speed. This exceptionally clean 1994 SZ comes to us with only 56K verified miles. For the most part this vehicle has been kept OEM, the way Toyota intended, with a few key modifications. Immetiatley you notice the custom FRP front bumper and the hard to find optional side skirts and rear spats. The front bumper looks great and really fits with the exaggerated stock body lines. Finished in the timeless Alpine Silver Metallic paint (199) it is in beautiful condition with no notable issues. The metallic flake really pops when you get it out in the sunlight and the clear coat has a deep luster to it. The body itself has been up with just as well free of any real blemishes. There is one small dent in the hood on the passenger side, otherwise there's not much to report. A period correct set of 17" two piece Enkei Racing 7 spoke wheels round out the bodywork and really plays well off the silver and black theme of the car.

The interior has been cared for with the same high standards. Largely all original it has had a few small additions made. A rare factory Toyota double din and a newer set of Kenwood speakers were installed. In doing some research on the headunit it appears that US maps are available to purchase, bringing back some of it's functionality here in the states. The center console has been wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl which adds to the sporty feel of the cockpit. Otherwise everything has been left untouched and in great condition. Both driver and passenger seats are free of any noticeable wear or tear and the carpets have been kept stain free. The back seat in all of the JZA80's are leather which adds a great level of resilience since it's really only large enough to be used for additional storage. The cockpit is very well laid out with all of the pertinent switches and information easily within reach of the driver. Fitted with all the modern power accessories of the time; power windows, mirrors, and climate control. As with most Toyota's, all of the accessories are functioning properly and the A/C is blowing cold for the last bit of the summer heat.

Under the hood is one of the most robust motors Toyota has developed, the 2JZ-GE. Because of it's wide variety of applications this is one of the easiest motors to maintain here in the states. You could literally take this to your local Lexus dealer to have it serviced if you wanted. The 2J fires right up and has the silky smooth idle that these are known for. The Kakimoto cat back exhaust has a very mellow tone that really comes to life as you climb through the rev range. The power delivery is great in these, despite not being the more powerful twin turbo model. To help it breathe a bit better as well as declutter the engine bay a bit, an A'PEXi intake was fitted. The real fun comes from the 5 speed manual sending power to the rear wheels. The W58 is an exceptional transmission that's just as smooth as the 2J is. The clutch engagement is solid but not heavy enough to drive you crazy at the first sign of traffic. The factory suspension is more than capable when you leave town and the road gets twisty. While it's typically not the first car that comes to mind when you consider a new daily however with the way this thing drives you'll find yourself wanting to hop in this to make the morning commute over your "normal" car. Of course for those looking to make big power this would be an ideal candidate for a GTE swap since it's essentially plug and play. When you consider the cost difference between this and a factory TT car it's a no brainer. Now is your chance to own a true legend.
