Toyota released some pretty desirable sports cars for the Japanese Domestic Market other than the well-known Celica and Supra we received stateside. Sporty sedans are a hot ticket item and unfortunately, we largely missed out on them from Toyota, until recently when they became eligible for legal import to the US. The Toyota Mark II Tourer V seventh-generation sedan or X90 chassis is the cream of the crop when it comes to the sports sedan segment. This 1994 Mark II touts a mere 33K verified and documented miles, extremely low for its age. The body is in excellent condition and sports the optional OEM lip kit which is also in great condition and difficult to obtain now-a-days. Finished in Toyota's beautiful Opal White Pearl (046) the paint is stunning in the sun. A few blemishes and rock chips can be expected but are also understandable from use on the road. The factory wheels were swapped out for a set of 18" Stern mesh wheels and Bilstein suspension to lower the center of gravity with style. This killer looking sports sedan is fresh off a recent service and ready to drive home today!

The Mark II is well designed from both a comfort and sporty perspective. Inside the cabin, you'll find luxury options such as electric windows, locks, and power-folding mirrors which function properly with the exception of the passenger side window. An adjustable tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and automatic digital climate control, add to the luxury feel. The A/C blows cold and the heat is ready for the cooler temperatures to come. The previous owner upgraded the factory radio to a Carrozzeria head unit as well as component speakers but unfortunately, the radio is inoperable. The center console has a nice wood grain trim to break up the gray interior and dash and looks right at home. Luckily, this dash is clean and clear of any bubbling, cracking, or major UV damage. The headliner is intact with no sagging or major stains to be noted, and the carpet has held up well over the years. The seats are fitted with a gray cloth which is soft to the touch with no signs of bolster wear. Lumbar adjustments are there to ensure you have a comfortable drive, near or far. The bolsters are sturdy and help keep you planted during spirited driving, a perfect combination of luxury and sporty. The door panels are clean but do show some sagging from the cloth insert on the driver's door. The previous owner also added a Blitz boost gauge and turbo timer, to ensure turbo longevity.

At the heart of this JZX90 is the twin turbo 1JZ-GTE engine, which is mated to an automatic transmission. This sleeper sedan shifts smoothly through each gear and is very confident to get you to your desired speeds on the road. Acceleration is linear and feels amazing with the twin turbos quick spool. The suspension has Bilstein struts to help with the center of gravity and pairs well with the front strut tower bar for reduced body roll. An RS*R exhaust and an open-air intake filter, make all the turbo noises you could want when your right foot is planted. While in our shop this Mark II was fully serviced. Our trained technicians upgraded the water pump to a 2J version which eliminated the hydraulic fan that's prone to failure, SPAL electric fan replaces it and functions wonderfully. The timing belt, serpentine belt, and tensioner pulley we all replaced as well and provides peace of mind for the next owner knowing all of this has been taken care of already. The ECU was rebuilt and is accompanied by a lifetime warranty to boot! We also added a new 12V battery, new valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, and 4 new tires give you grip on the road for tens of thousands of miles to come. Lastly, a fresh oil and filter service makes this JZX90 road-ready and up to date on all required maintenance. Don't miss this low mileage sports sedan!
