1994 Toyota LiteAce
Toyota of Japan was pushing people haulers through their dealer network heavily in 1994. The LiteAce minivan is about the perfect size for an ideal city runabout. With a durable diesel engine, tons of interior room, and space-age styling, this Japanese van is an ideal ride to own.The exterior is in excellent condition with minimal blemishes. Finished in soft, Azurite Blue two tone (21U) paint it is in exceptional shape, with the body in the same condition. Overall the body has been maintained exceptionally well, and the exterior plastics and acrylics looks great. No major dents or scratches adorn the exterior, and the glass is all in good shape. The light bar looks distinctive at night and the aerodynamic, cab over design, makes for a cool looking profile.
The interior is in excellent condition finished in durable grey cloth and has been kept up incredibly for a vehicle intended to transport a gaggle of toddlers. Seats are stain and rip free showing only minimal wear both front and back, with the rear row having the most accelerated wear. The rear seats have seemly endless configurations and the middle row can swivel 180 degrees (rear facing) which creates a limo like experience. The seating capacity is eight, and despite its small exterior dimensions, the interior is more than adequate to fit adults. The GXL model denotes a high roof, and the headliner is in fantastic shape. Extra grab handles line both the back and middle rows, as well. It is clean, and the structure doesn't display the least bit of sag, which is common a quarter century old vans. The rear seats fold up and out of the way for increased cargo space if desired. The air struts function properly out back, and the rear hatch opens to a height above six feet for easy loading. Rear occupants have their own A/C zone, and a suite of privacy curtains line the back glass to prevent unwanted glances from other motorists. Oversize mirrors provide great visibility on both passenger and driver sides, and the driver controls including power locks, OEM audio, and one touch window switches are all easily reachable. The dash is in great shape, free of any cracks or discoloration.
The 3C-T turbo diesel fires right up and idles smoothly. This specific four cylinder is known for its durability and with only 58K verified miles, is barely broken in. A new 12 volt battery has been fitted to ensure an immediate start every time, even during worst of the winter cold snaps. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly, and LiteAce hums through the gears with that familiar diesel clatter in the background. Freeway cursing is much more comfortable than a kei van, and the gearing is much wider by comparison. The front-midship, RWD layout provides optimal fuel economy, and four forward gears makes the best of this efficient diesel's broad torque curve. An oil change has been performed by one of our trained technicians, and ensures another 3000 miles of carefree motoring. The suspension is more than capable of taking larger road imperfections without issue, and brakes stop the car safely. Approach angles are fantastic, and the van has an abundance of ground clearance if you live off the beaten path. The cars turning radius is better than average, with much of its maneuverability being owed to its tight wheelbase. New tires and hub caps have been mounted and balanced all around, and the DOT approved tires comply with the increased speeds of American interstate traffic.
Our vehicles are mechanically reconditioned to a high enough standard that include a completed Virginia State Safety Inspection, with the supporting documentation from a registered state inspector. This LiteAce is too good to miss; It's brilliant drivetrain, low cost of ownership, and useful layout make it the perfect turn-key JDM family van.
