Perhaps our most refined and luxurious SUV import model, this 1994 Land Cruiser would make for a wonderful daily driver. Nearly identical to the stateside model, this 4.5L gasoline variant is equipped with a bevy of power amenities and offered for sale with a mere 129K verified miles. Finished in a classic Magnetic Gray over Black two-tone (23Z), the body is in good shape other than some minor dings and scuffs associated with normal use. Freshly serviced and legally imported, this nicely optioned VX Limited model would make an ideal Japanese Classic to drive and own!

The cabin is spacious, clean, and full of decent equipment. The VX Limited trucks were best optioned from the factory and this one is no exception. Desirable features include a power-retractable sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and a functional CoolBox refrigerated center console. The Cruiser also includes a tilt-adjustable steering wheel for the driver and power windows, locks, and mirrors. For those who want more natural ventilation large OEM rain guards keep the cabin quiet with the windows unfurled. The seats are trimmed in a blue and gray Alcantara combo. They are comfortable on long trips and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as we did want to note the passenger side mirror must be manually adjusted, and the dash does have some cracking in front of the gauge cluster. The view of the road ahead is clean and unobstructed and all the switchgear is at hand and easy to reach. Even the OEM audio works and the clarity isn't half bad. The door cards, headliner, and carpet don't have any major damage we noted.

These Land Cruisers were built to stand the test of time. This one is no exception and is powered by a silky smooth 4.5L inline six-cylinder engine. Running off good old fashion gasoline, this 1FZ-FE benefits from a fresh oil and filter service. The startup is brisk, and with the turn of the key, she whirrs to life. Mated to an automatic transmission and full-time 4WD, acceleration is adequate for merging onto highways and city use. The gearbox itself shifts without any issues, and if the going gets tough, a low gear setting is available. This VX includes a front and rear electronic limited-slip differential and a locking center diff if you plan to take it off-road by chance. The suspension is compliant and happy to gobble up large and small road imperfections. The long-wheelbase lends itself to a premium highway feel and the power-assisted steering is light and easy to articulate. The braking is satisfactory and grip is handled by four new all-season tires that have been mounted on the alloy wheels. They should last for years to come and deliver plenty of traction year-round.
