The standard-bearer of luxury, the UCF21 Toyota Celsior still feels like a world-class luxury sedan today. This 1994 is finished in a stately Diamond White Pearl (051) and offered with a mere 37K original miles. With its gold emblems and privacy tint the body is in good shape other than some minor dings, scuffs, and chips associate with normal use. Featuring a factory air ride suspension, its hearty and reliable V8, and tons of power amenities, it's hard to deny this Toyota is a true Japanese Classic.

The cabin exudes luxury, and the time Toyota spent on premium materials and proper ergonomics is apparent. The tan executive cloth seats are in nice shape and lack any major rips holes or tears. They are power-adjustable upfront and even the seatbelts can be raised and lowered for driver and passenger comfort with a press of a button. A power telescoping and tilting column is standard along with power-folding mirrors, locks, and windows which work as they should. The low-lying dash presents a clear view of the road ahead and is neither cracked nor distorted. Swaths of wood grain and leather accents dress up the cabin nicely and are in good nick. The door cards and headliners are both clean and tightly upholstered and the carpets have held up well over the years. The A/C blows cold, and the heat will handle all that winter can throw at it. However, the interior isn't perfect as the aftermarket head unit no longer functions, but that should be easy enough to replaceable. Also like many Celsior/LS400's the speedo and temp gauge have a tendency to work when they want to.

The engine and driveline utilized in the second generation Celsior are nearly perfect. The 1UZ-FE received a healthy power bump for '94 and the platform itself saw a noticeable weight reduction. This improves overall performance and efficiency without sacrificing reliability. Benefiting from a new 12V battery and fresh semi-synthetic oil change the Toyota fires up with a twist of the key. Setting into a near-silent idle, the 4.0L unit has surprisingly little vibration. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox. The transmission shifts properly and the large four-door is happy to hustle up to and above highway-legal speeds without breaking a sweat. The air suspension does a wonderful job of sorting out road imperfections large and small. Ride height is also adjustable through a cockpit mounted switch located by the gear selector. The brakes are confident and the steering is light and power-assisted. The factory alloys are all wrapped in new all-season rubber that has been mounted and balanced by one of our trained technicians. Plenty of grips can be had year-round, and the new tires quiet down the ride even more.

As a daily driver, VIP platform, or weekend cruiser the Celsior is a top-notch choice. The build quality, luxury appointments, and upscale styling can't be beaten for the price!
