1994 R33 Skyline GTS25-t
The R33 is one of our most desirable sports coupes, and this 1994 is a ridiculously clean and low mileage example. Finished in a stunning Nissan silver (KLO) over grey metallic (KM1) the body and paint are in good shape aside from some minor scratches, dings, and chips associated with normal use. Offered with an incredible 39k verified and documented miles, this recently serviced GTS25-t is turn-key and ready to rock. Boasting a spacious cabin filled with electric amenities this Skyline would make for a fantastic commuter or cars and coffee cruiser on the weekends. For those who want a legendary JDM coupe this collectible stock time capsule is a sure bet, and a certified Japanese Classic.
The cabin is in above average shape and was cared for by the previous owner. The dash is in good shape lacking any cracking or distortion. The driver benefits from electric locks, power mirrors, power windows, and a powered sliding and tilt sunroof. These all work like a charm and make daily use enjoyable. The same can be said for the OEM audio system and factory automatic digital climate control. Cold A/C and hot heat are on hand to ensure interior temperatures are comfortable no matter the season. The seats are in above average shape and upholstered in a gray cloth, still plush and soft to the touch. They lack any rips, stains, or tears and are supportive when cornering or on the local commute. The carpets, headliner, and door cards have resisted major abuse over the last 27 years and still show extremely well. That's not to say that the cabin is perfect as the power-folding mirrors no longer power fold but can still be folded in manually, and the speedo is a bit wonky and works intermittantly up to speeds of around 100 kph, which is a common issue with these. Still, it’s clear this car was kept up quite well in Japan and even retains its original owner’s manuals and service records located in the glove compartment.
Powered by the fun to drive RB25DET this R33 has plenty of power even in stock configuration. Fresh off an oil and filter service the turbocharged 2.5L springs to life, with the twist of a key, thanks to its new 12v battery. Pulling hard to redline, the power is delivered to the rear wheels through a smooth shifting automatic transmission. Getting up to merging speeds is a blast and happens fairly quick. Thanks to the long wheelbase, the Nissan is comfortable and stable at America's faster highway speeds. While comfortably conquering highways the R33 truly shines on the back roads. Power assisted steering is communicative and the driver’s inputs are precise. The factory suspension, in collaboration with the brand-new front tension rods, keep the Skyline firmly planted while cornering and the new front and rear brake pads keep the brake pedal responsive and firm. The addition of four new Falken tires maintain maximum grip and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
