The R33 is a great performing chassis and received several improvements over the R32 it replaced. This 1994 GTS-4 example is about as budget friendly as it gets when it comes to an R33 and sports a manual transmission equipped with Nissan's Attesa AWD system found in the GTR. The exterior is in good shape and is finished in Super Black (KH3). There is some exterior trim wear you'd expect for a vehicle this vintage, and some minor door dings and scuffs from normal use. The paint overall is in nice shape and looks sharp in the sun. Accented with a set of aftermarket 17" alloy wheels, OEM rain visors, and an optional OEM NaVan rear wing the exterior remains restrained and unassuming. This GTS-4 has had a cluster swap some time ago in Japan, and as such, the mileage could not be verified and is being sold with unknown miles. Notable prior repairs in Japan include a new hood. This kid friendly Skyline is fresh off a recent service and is certainly a certified Japanese classic!
The interior is in great condition and like the exterior sports a couple of understated upgrades. The headunit has been upgraded to a near OEM looking double din which is equipped with a CD player and functions properly. Above the digital automatic climate control provides a comfortable temperature inside the cabin with cold A/C and hot heat available. The dash is in great shape and lacks any major UV damage or cracks. There is the typical trim wear on the plastics which is a common R33 issue, but they've held up fine otherwise. A Tomei shift knob rounds out the interior modifications and looks right at home. The door panels are in nice shape as well and lack any major cuts or tears. The fabric inserts are in great condition along with the headliner and carpets. The seats are comfortable and in great condition lacking any major wear. The seats do have a minor stain on the right seat bottom we wanted to note. You'll even receive the original factory owner's manual which is tucked inside the glove box!
Mechanically, the GTS-4 is powered by the RB25DE, which is peppier than you might think! The engine starts quickly thanks to a new 12v battery we installed here at our shop. The idle is smooth and maintenance is much more simple since it lacks a turbo. Connected to a 5-speed manual transmission which shifts well and is certainly more fun to drive than the automatic it was originally equipped with from the factory. We wanted to note that the AWD system is currently operating in RWD as the Attesa pump needs to be replaced. Our trained technicians installed a new timing belt and water pump for some added peace of mind along with a new thermostat. The suspension was addressed as well with new rear shocks providing a more comfortable ride, and new front left inner and outer tie rods eliminating any steering slop. A new engine air filter along with a fresh oil and filter service allow you another 3k miles before its next scheduled oil change. A freshly rebuilt engine ECU was also installed that comes with a lifetime warranty as well. Finally, we mounted and balanced 4 brand new tires which provide plenty of grip and will last for years to come!
