Nissan really had some heavy hitters in their model lineup in the 90s, especially in Japan. The Silvia K's was a great sports coupe with a sharp exterior design that is still recognizable on the road today. This 1994 Nissan S14 is finished in Pearl White (WKO) and is in impressive shape for a 30-year-old coupe. Likely attributed to the 95k verified and documented miles on the clock, it's clear it was cared for in a prior life overseas. The body and paint show well but do have a few minor blemishes and rock chips from normal use. Lowered on new coilovers and set off by an aero front bumper, side skirts, rear spats, and an aggressive set of 18" Stage Monroe alloys, this S14 has a winning aesthetic and a laundry list of good mods to go along with it. Recently serviced, and a blast to drive, this Silvia is a clean example of a fan-favorite Japanese Classic!
The cabin in this Silvia is comfortable and features a few upgrades as well. The seats are outfitted in a plush light grey cloth with a nice striped insert to break up the scheme. While the driver and passenger side seats do not match, they are quite close. No rips or tears were noted and no major bolster wear was found on either. A Tomeishift knob feels good in the palm of your hand and matches the snail under the hood. The door cards are also in good nick and the headliner and carpet are free of any major stains. The dash has a carpeted cover over it, concealing some cracked dash material. The center console is tidy and features automatic climate control and a USDM Sony audio system for all your auditory needs. The A/C and heat function properly, and if you prefer natural ventilation, power windows drop at the press of the switch. Power folding mirrors and power locks also function, making daily use a breeze. The original steering wheel was ditched for an aftermarket Personal unit that feels much nicer in the palm overall. The gauge cluster is simple to read and a Blitz boost gauge was added atop the A-pillar. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as we wanted to note the sunroof has been sealed and is inoperable.
The power of Nissan's well-known SR20DET is enough for a good time right out of the box and with the high-quality modifications found underneath the bonnet, it's an absolute rocket. The engine fires right up with the assistance of a new 12V battery installed here at the dealership. This SR is also fresh off an oil and filter service, and runs like a top. The stock turbo was swapped out for a responsive Tomei Arms M7960 turbine that sounds sublime under boost. Other modifications include Nismo 550cc Injectors, Z32 MAF, and an Apexi metal head gasket. A Tomei downpipe is mated to a Tomei titanium catback, and a Greddy intake works in tandem with an HPI front mount intercooler to keep charge temps cool. The 5-speed transmission shifts well and includes an upgraded ORC clutch to handle all of the additional ponies. We even changed out the transmission output seal to ensure you don't lose a drop of necessary lubricant. The suspension was upgraded with a set of adjustable coilovers, and we replaced the rear subframe bushings and both front caster arms to dial in the handling. A fresh rebuild of the steering rack should keep you covered for the road ahead and the brakes are responsive to boot. The ride quality is decent for being so low but is a bit stiffer than stock which is to be expected on a purpose-built car. Two new tires are mounted out back to keep you covered for the road ahead, and a fresh alignment has been performed to ensure they last as long as possible.
