Toyota's JZX90 is the quintessential Japanese touring sedan. Sporty aesthetics, comfortable ride quality, well appointed interiors, and an amazing powerhouse under the hood make models like this 1994 Mark II Tourer V a true sleeper in every essence of the term. Finished in Ebony Teal Pearl (6N9), the exterior looks the part, and is accented by OEM rainguards, an FRP front lip, a tasteful factory spoiler, optional OEM side skirts and rear bumper spats, and 18" Advan Siena 2 alloys. Better yet, the 11k verified and documented miles on the clock makes this an almost once in a lifetime chance at securing this factory fresh Mark II. Save for a prior repair to the left rear quarter performed in Japan, this is a real find no matter which way you spin it and enthusiasts with a keen eye will surely recognize the value in front of them. As iconic as the rest of Toyota's sports car lineup at the time, it's no wonder we deem this Tourer V a genuine Japanese Classic.

The interior manages to match the exterior hue without appearing gaudy, or too over the top. Instead, upon opening the doors you'll find the striped cloth upholstery in fantastic shape alongside the matching door cards, headliner, and plush carpeting beneath. The seats have withstood the past few decades with few defects outside of some minor UV fading, and the streamlined vinyl dash has resisted any cracks, fading or serious distortion as well aside from some minor peeling around the defrost vents. Framed in the center stack, an easy to use automatic climate control is ripe with both cold A/C and hot heat and sits adjacent to an Addzest audio system that works like a charm. The driver assumes a comfortable position behind the Nardi woodgrain wheel, and the steering column can be tilted and lumbar support is adjustable to make any fine-tuned adjustments. From the driver's seat, all four power windows are functional, as are the electric locks and side view mirrors. The back seats can fit three additional passengers with ease, and trunk space is deceptively large and can fit your groceries, luggage, or larger items with ease. Overall, the condition indicates this Mark II was cared for in a prior life. and the included OEM carpet mats only work to validate this statement further. If we were to complain about anything, it would be some dead dome lights and inoperable power folding mirrors.

Forbidden fruit in the USA, but commonplace in numerous tuning cultures across the globe, the 1JZ-GTE under the bonnet is a killer, twin turbocharged I-6 that offers a rewarding ownership experience to boot. Ours is fresh off an oil and filter service and cranks right over thanks to a new 12v battery we installed. We also installed new spark plugs, and a new engine air filter, and fuel filter for a bit of a preemptive tune up. We had the ECU freshly rebuilt with a transferrable lifetime warranty to whoever purchases this gem, too! With the maintenance performed this X90 is a blast to drive and the 1J feels composed from around town jaunts to longer highway excursions. The RSR coilovers help eliminate some unsightly wheel gap against the alloys and also improve handling significantly on the tarmac. The steering is easy to navigate, the ABS brakes clamp down hard, and fresh Falken tires are mounted on all four corners to ensure you'll have plenty of grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!
